College days

Merit basis, ECET- Rank 64, General councelling process state wise. Interested to about the drugs profile.

We had only one month Pharmaceutical Industry internship. And we had not paid any stipend during the course work. We had numerous company offers to our college. As our college is well known throughout the state so we have plenty of opportunities in pharmaceutical industries.

Most of the students use to go abroad for higher studies like out of 66 students 35 students went abroad for M.S studies and remaining 25 students Post graduation in India.

We use to celebrate one week pharmacy day, where scientific sessions were organized, poster presentation is compulsory for 3rd year students from the subjects and prizes were given by the judges. Freshers day, farewell, College day were regularly celebrated yearly without effecting the college working hours.

Fees 8000/- rupees yearly, feasible. starting only building fund were collected that is 5000/- rupees. Compared to other college fees collected was less. My course is lateral entry into 2nd year as i was diploma student. So i paid only 3years fees.

Loan facilities available but depends upon student requirement. I availed myself education loan from the bank in 3 and 4th year of my study.

Campus life was excellent, we use to enjoy very much in extracurricular activities, learn excellent knowledge in labs, good sports day was conducted by the college, prizes were distributed on college day.

Hostel maintenance is by student, good hostel rooms, per room 3 or 2 students allotted. Good food both vegetarian and non-veg was available. average rent per month i use to pay was 1000/- rupees. If holidays means 700/- rupees only.

Our college has strong alumni network and good at interaction with seniors. Senior students are invited during alumni celebrations. Very student had guidance from senior students.

Exams and labs were very strictly conducted so it is hectic, yearly exams pattern. Practicals were use to be very strict and good laboratory exposure.

Faculty at that time were good, yearly exam pattern, we had both theory and practical class, well organised classes and labs. Highly experienced faculty we use to have more over it is the first private pharmacy college in Andhra Pradesh.
