Remarks
The admission process was quite easy and flexible. There was no entrance exam for admission. The eligibility of the course is 60% in the 10th and 12th. The application form is available on the site and can be found in the nearby book store.
Course Curriculum Overview
My interest was in coding so I decided to choose Computer Science Engineering. The faculty is very much qualified and their teaching method is also good whether it be online or offline. Teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable. The papers are also not so much tough you just need a few hours of study and you are ready to go.
Internships Opportunities
The companies like Microsoft, josh technologies, jocata, juspay, and many more companies visit the college. Roles offered under internships are like for java developer, analyst, and more roles too as described in the JD of the company. U should at least have 3 projects in the resume for a better offer. Stipend under the companies varies from 10k to as maximum that the company offers.
Placement Experience
The placement cell is very helpful and caring. The companies which come here to take interviews are very good. 7.5 LPA average package in cse batch. Almost 95% of students get placed. Lowest 3.5 LPA package. Chitkara has a dedicated placement cell which ensures every student's placement in a good company. Almost students get internships from the 6th semester itself. Rest of them got placed before last semester
Fees and Financial Aid
There is no scholarship type of thing for the general category if not from that category then you can go and see on the college site regarding the scholarship. The cost to study was like 80k per semester and may vary from year to year
Campus Life
The infrastructure of the campus is very well maintained. There are DJ nights also conducted for the hostellers. There are many clubs for the students in college for our fun and some tech fests are also conducted like hackathons under the supervision of the club heads and teachers. In the college, there is a library which is very well maintained and with lots of books. There's everything in the college for students like gym and every sports court with basketball court, football court, volleyball court, pool table, foosball, etc. are available in the college no need to go anywhere outside for the fun.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel is very much comfortable with four people sharing a room and a cooler for summers other than this 2 and 3 sharing bedrooms are also available plus ac rooms are also available if needed. The wifi is excellent in the hostel. The food quality is ok but much better than other colleges' mess. While opting for admission you have to tell whether you need a hostel facility or not.
