My college

The course im into is civil engineering. The eligibility for this course is that you should be an intermidiate passed out student. EAMCET is an entrance test conducting by the government. You can apply for eamcet which is conducted by the local government and write the exam which is treated as an entrance test into colleges. Application will be available online and will be published in news papers so you can apply through online. Or you can directly get into the college by paying money for a management seat in the college. If your reservation is appliable for you can make use of it at the time of counselling conduted for admission into any college. Improvements are in admission process is providng better instructions.

I choose this civil course as im intrested in the construction field and building designing. This civil course is something that deals with core part of the engineering. Faculty will be more than three members dealing with one subject so it will be easy for student interaction with faculty and doubt clarification. The faculty will be qualifying of minimum m.tech from IIT or NIT. Their teaching will be so understandable to students as they are well experienced. Exams will be conduted for every subject as two mids and end semester. For passing the examination, it wont be too difficulty. You just have to follow lecturer notes and material will be given by them.

Internships will be of many types which provide intern to the students. There will be many companies visiting the college for providing internships. There will different roles in the intern like leader, developer, etc. There will be some companies which provide stipend and some provide only certificates. In the intern you will get into a project and complete it in that period of time. The intern will be most related to what you learn in the classrooms, it will be helpful for improving practical knowledge.

From the semester of sixth, you will be called for campus placements. There will be a training in the classroom for the campus drives on how to attend and how to attempt the test. The eligibility for campus placements will be different for various colleges, like most of them look about CGPA. There will be more number of companies visiting the college each year and they will be recruiting many students to companies. The number of companies will increase for every drive. The minimum package will be 3.8 lakh and it will be a maximum of 32 lakh per annum. And may get higher basing on performance. My plans after getting my degree is to get placed in a good company with a bettter package that worth my work and my education.

Fees will be around 70000 including building fund etc. Fees hike will not be for every year as this college is affiliated to government universities. Scholarship will be available for students who are eligble according to government norms and get a full fees reimbursement for all semesters.The scholarship provided by state government for the students who are eligible to avail that. Financial assistance will be provided by the bank if the college gives necessary documentations to avail education loan for students. Job opportunity will be available from 3rd year with a good pay.

Campus is the main part as it plays major role in a student life. The campus will be in a large area with good green area and open areas. The library will be a huge building with all computer labs, books, and reading room. Classrooms are well equiped with all amenities and sufficient number of benches to sit freely. For sports, there will be a seperated playground for all. And social groups will be there like NSS which serves social activities. There are student groups like FYFP and GLUG, these are formed by the students in the college for various purposes.
