To get admission in this course you have to pass class or 12 with a minimum of 40% marks from any recognized board. Also, you should have a valid rank card. You can get the form for applying on our college's official website as well as an offline form on our college campus at Durgapur. There is some 25% discount on the total fees for the reserve category students. The admission procedure is well organized so no improvement is required from a point of view.

I have gone for this course to gain knowledge about corporate industries on how they work on electrical machinery. We have 12 faculties and 60-120 students in each class. All faculties are well educated with B.tech or M.tech degrees and they taught us really well. There is a semester exam twice in a calendar year ( one in the month of June and another in December).

Tata power provides a stipend of 14k per month for a six months internship. Minsole Limited provides internships of 12k per month for 1 year. Pinnacle provides internships for 2 years with a bond at a stipend of 10k per month. Basic projects of Tata power are to generate electric power across India while Minsole Limited is totally based on Minning's work.

Students become eligible for placements from their final year that is from the 5th semester. Tata Power, Yazaki India, Valeo Lighting, Minsole Limited are some of the companies that visited are colleges every year. The highest package is 4lakhs per annum. The lowest package is 2lakhs per annum. While the average package is 3lakhs per annum. Almost 90% of students get placements every year. I have joined Minsole Limited company from college placement in my final year and currently, I am doing the same job as well as studying B. Tech in Electrical Engineering.

The total fee of the course is around 120000-170000 for the three years excluding canteen and hostel charges. You have to pay 36000-40000 at starting and the remaining amount will be paid in the next five semesters. The scholarships are Asha-Jyoti, Swami Vivekanda Scheme, etc.

Annual Tech and Edu Fest, Student- Passout meet, and Annual sports along with annual cultural events are organized on the month of November. All types of books are available at the library. Classrooms are very clean and well decorated and have a free wi-fi facilities. We have a large playground for all types of outdoor sports along with a Gym. We have BCP social club on Facebook and Instagram connected to people all over India.
