Remarks
Eligibility for BTech in any stream is 12th qualification or a minimum of 3year degree of diploma or polytechnic. Admission is done through a common entrance test conducted by JNTUH. CET exam dates and schedules are provided by respective committees on their respective websites. The application fee is nearly 800 to 1000INR.
Course Curriculum Overview
I'm very much interested in electronics and signal processing like communication engineering, hence I opted for ECE. Qualification of faculty would be from masters or PhD in their respective field of study. Teaching is absolutely conceptual and industry oriented. Exams are semester wise and can be passed if a person has enough conceptual understanding.
Placement Experience
From the 6th semester of the btech course students are eligible for placements. College also trains students for Aptitude and critical thinking and provides campus recruitment training. Many top companies like Wipro, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, TCS digital, byjus, MAQ software, DBS, IBM etc... come here and offers good job roles for students, the highest package offered till now is 25 lakhs per annum
Fees and Financial Aid
The annual fee is 80000INR. But if a student got admission via TS EAMCET or ECET, then the person would avail for fee reimbursement of 35000INR from the state government. Scholarship applications are accepted online through TS ePASS.
Campus Life
Fests often happen in our college. The College library is always with a good pile of books for students and faculty as well. National and international journals along with magazines are available. Every class and lab are enabled with Wi-Fi and required equipment. Sports has a major role in SMEC.
