Remarks
I'm currently pursuing Bachelor's in computer science at JECRC University, Jaipur. And my overall experience has been great till now. You get a lot of opportunities to shine here. This course is taught at a great level with good and supportive teachers. There are many student communities too, such as GDSC which is backed by Google, MLSA backed by Microsoft and many more. This college has many societies/clubs and organizations too, like drama club, music, dance, etc. and organizations: zarurat, Suhasini, aashayein, etc. With a big, clean and beautiful campus you'll always feel refreshed by the positive vibe it radiates. The admission process is simple, just fill out the form provided on their website and they'll assist you with the rest by phone call.
Course Curriculum Overview
I am inclined towards this coding and stuff, which is why I chose to pursue this course. The faculty here is friendly with students and will support you with any problem you have. To be very honest, term exams are not that hard, you just have to know the basics and here you go with decent marks.
Placement Experience
Generally, after the 6th-semester students become eligible for campus placements, a total of 1k+ placements they've made recently with having the best companies like amazon, adobe, Microsoft at their side. Recently a guy grabbed a 90LPA package from a big company.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure depends from course to course. As I'm from a core branch, my fees per year are 165000. For specialization courses, it is a bit high. But wait, they got you covered with scholarships. If you have more than 70% in 10th and 12th, you're eligible for scholarships. Also, they provide additional discounts on fees occasionally.
Campus Life
The annual fest of JECRC University is named JU Rhythm. It is said to be one of the finest fests in Jaipur. There are a lot of fun activities conducted here. And while college starts to prepare for it a month before as we're going to have a festival. The student communities are fun too here to keep your spirit up they keep doing their stuff.
Hostel Facilities
You get personal and well-maintained rooms here with food of good quality. There are four meals in a day, breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner. Each with an interesting menu. They also serve a full Chinese dinner on the third Sunday and the menu is awesome at any festive time. The registration process for a hostel is simple, you'll get a booklet at the time of admission which will have a form for hostel registration, just fill that and you're done.
