Remarks
More of good staff and a better director can change the status of college from average to great. Facilities are average as compared to other colleges in mumbai. No canteen, fuel thieves in parking area and bus stop standard washrooms. Classrooms are full AC along with conference hall is good. Computer lab and library is also good. Overall its decent for that amount of fees.
Entrance Preview
I took MHCET,I scored 90 percentile and chose this college as it has a decent brand name of Sinhgad. Along with it 70% placement record and its location was good for me.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course is not something extra ordinary but you have full access to staff of which only 50% is with industry knowledge and they will be helpful. Remaining 50% are doing a favored job nothing more. Optimistic view is lacking in director of institute which leads to no good of student.
Internships Opportunities
College provide internships as much as they can mostly stipend is not provided but in rare cases its 4000-6000 only.
Placement Experience
Placements are provided by central placement office in pune and good opportunities are there but salaries are between 3-5 L region. Most of companies coming schedule interviews in pune so every time i have to go to pune for any interview. Thats frustrating most of the time as interviews are scheduled before 10 am and have to report before 9:30am.
College Events
Sinhastra,outdoor training and some other professional lectures. College festivals are not so big as compared to graduation level fest but it was ok as the location of college is mostly unknown to most of the nearby people also. Lectures were good and traditional day and some similar events were dim.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Its feasible and you can pay in 2-3 splits. Fees is 1,45,000 and each year it increases by 5%. For Other colleges fees is near 2 lac or more for each year. For the facilities they are providing its decent not so much good. You may find yourself wasting money sometimes due to facilities.
Fees and Financial Aid
College have tied up with TJSB bank for loan related help and you can get all related things done in time. No scholarship is provided for general class students else it follows government norms for reservation class.
Hostel Facilities
There is no hostel or mess facility provided by institute.
Alumni/Alumna
No help from alumni or senior students. Most of senior students dont attend college much so no chance getting in touch for any good help.
Exam Structure
There will be 4 semester in which for every semester there are 40 marks for internals and remaining 60 for main exams. Mostly people get internals by attending lectures, performance or knowledge doesn't matter much. Even marks in final exams will get affected if you dont have great attendance score as professors knows whose paper they are checking.
