Students can take Addmission in Sal College via ACPC form or offline management quota. There is no entrance exam for addmission. In ACPC addmission to Sal institute of technology and engineering research, you need to rank under 20000. You can fill up a form of ACPC via their website. If your ACPC rank is under 5000, you can get a TFWS seat for free.

Course Curriculum Overview

I like engineering, especially computer engineering, so I earlier decided to take admission in computer engineering. And I take admitted to the Sal Institute of Technology and Engineering Research Ahemdabad. There are 65 students in one class(my number is 60). Facilities are good and experienced, some faculties have Dr Degree. Two mid sem examinations are conducted by the college and one GTU exam at end of the semester, if you do good preparation in mindset, you can pass the GTU exam easily.

Class Size: 65Course Fees: INR 56000 per year

Most of Gujarat colleges and GTU Universities like Sal Institute of Technology and Engineering Research provide placements in the 7th semester, and the 8th semester was an Internship. 20 to 40% of students get placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

Annually fees of college are 56,000/-. You have to pay fees of 28,000/- per semester. It is worthy from my personal experience. The college has a large campus. But college needs to improve in campus placements. College no provides any college scholarships.

Campus Life

Sal Institute of Technology and Engineering Research college organized many extracurricular activities for students like sports like cricket, football, basketball. The college has cricket, football, and basketball ground, the college has a big library. Some Students are in ABVP (Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad) group.

There is no major problem in the curriculum regarding to the course. The curriculum covers almost all major real-world applications. But, the there is so much detailed and compulsive study on techniques that are not even used in today's time.

Placements are good. Students are eligilble for campus placements from 7th semester. The highest package is 2100000 and the lowest is 200000. The median package is 3.5 to 4.5 lakhs per year. From last two years there was 100% placements but usually its 90%. I plan to pursue pg after this degree in either mtech or mba.

Placement Experience:

In our college placement starts from 7th semester and students are eligible from the 7th semester. The highest package is around 21 lakh and avg package is 3.5 to 4 lakhs(companies are tcs , tatvasoft , argusoft , IBM etc.) many students get placement like more than 50 % my simple plan is to get a good job from campus placement and do job after my graduation.

Placements start to comence from 7th sem.It is the eligibility criteria for all students. Companies like Sopan Industries etc have visited the campus for placement purpose. Highest package was of around 4.9lpa and average is around 3.4lpa Most students who got placements were those with an average CGPA of 8.6

From 6 semester students become eligible for campus placement, too much companies are visited to our campus like , L&T , TATA, TCS many others around 150+ companies. Which is the highest placement in our college is that 20 lakhs and average package is that around 5 to 6 lakhs.
