12th paasout with 60%.and have to crack their own exam conducted by the university. Everything is available on the university website www.shuats.edu.in Reservation for Christian students only. Not much improvement is needed, many centres should be provided in every state.
Course Curriculum Overview
There is lots of scope in present and future of agriculture and horticulture. There is sufficient faculty for students. Faculties are good qualified and tech in a good manner. The exam is conducted on a monthly basis and there is no difficulty if u give some time.
Internships Opportunities
There are lots of companies for every department like Mahindra for BTech agriculture, seeds companies for agriculture and horticulture, Amul for dairy. Projects is done last year and they have good outcomes.
Placement Experience
From the 7th semester, students are eligible for campus placement. Many companies visit colleges like vnr, Amul and many fertiliser companies. The highest package is around 7-8 lakh/year and the average is 3-4 lakh. 10 to 20 % of students get placement.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee of this course is 51000 per semester and 110000 per year it varies in the semester. Students can get scholarships from their state government and university also provide fee concessions for which those can't afford.
Campus Life
There is lots of fests organized like expression by biotech department, food fest and many more. Lots of books are available in the library. Good opportunity for sports those who are interested sports meet conducted every year.
Hostel Facilities
There are many types of rooms available in hostel mainly two seater is available, Meal quality is average bur lots of variation in the menu. U can register in the office at the time of admission. Khan chauraha, and Ganpati nagar.
