Admission process consisted of first shortlisting on the basis of CAT Score followed by Personal Interview and a Impromptu Topic Speech. Application form was provided on the college's official website. Any graduate or in the final year of graduation with a CAT Score can apply for admissions.
Course Curriculum Overview
MBA FT is the flagship course at Nirma University. The curriculum is updated every year to add newer subjects and case studies to be taught. Student to Faculty ratio is roughly around 30:01 Most of the faculty has a doctorate or very premium academic qualifications and experiences. Exams are taken every three months on a trimester basis and are generally easy to crack
Placement Experience
Students become eligible from the 2nd year at the end of the 4th trisem. Around 60-70 companies visited during my tenure and the average CTC offered was 8.7 LPA. The highest was around 13 LPA. 95% of the batch gets placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
The overall fees I paid was 12,00,000Rs for two years which includes everything from tuition, mess, hostel to laundry etc. A merit and means based scholarship is provided which is highest at around 1,00,000 per year.
Campus Life
Campus life is very much like a premier B- School should have. The annual fest is conducted every year around October. Sports fest is also conducted every year. College has more than 26 Clubs/Committees Classroom is equipped with Smart Screen, Projector, Microphone, Camera and Speakers. Library is also well equipped with more than 15 magazine subscriptions and almost every popular book.
Hostel Facilities
Rooms are available as AC and Non- AC Every room has a cupboard, work desk, mirror. Washrooms are common in boys' hostels. Meals provided in the mess are also good and the menu is changed everyday. Hostels are compulsory since it's a residential program.
