Remarks

The University releases it's cut off marks for the course. According to this students can judge themselves eligible for the course. The University has it's official website where all the things related to the admission can be known. Students have to first apply for the course in the website and then provisional merit list is prepared and after the verification of documents in the University premises final merit list comes. Admission is made on merit basis. Reservation is there for SC,ST students and also benefits are given to students such as NCC cadets and NSS volunteers.

The course curriculum is based on CBCS model. I had listened so many good things about this course in this university. There are good number of faculty members. They are highly qualified. They hold higher degrees like Ph.D. Term examinations are conducted timely and it depends on the efforts of the student about passing the exam.

Final year students are eligible for campus placement. Companies like Deloitte, TCS etc are visiting the campus to hire the students. More about this can be known from the university website. Average package is around 3 lakhs per year.

As this is government university so the cost is quite less. Students have the option to take scholarships of central and state government also all other popular scholarship schemes. Also special benefits are given to the university toppers.

Campus Life

Life is really amazing in the campus of Ravenshaw University, Cuttack. All the festivals are celebrated by the students. The University has different clubs namely art club, acting club, music club etc. and by this extracurricular activities are promoted among the students. Annual day function, annual sports meet, food festival etc. are conducted by the students.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities are really good. Hostels are big. Hostel rooms are capable of accomodating 4 to 6 students in a room. Dinning hall is present inside the hostel. Hostel fees are very nominal around 6 to 8 thousand per year. Hostel registration is made at the time of main admission of the students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I had taken commerce when i was in the college and the curriculum is very easy but some time its get borring because there are few subject are there where the teaching that the teacher is giving is either going above the head or not understable because those some subject have no use in the daily life and that are not usefull.

Value for Money Education in Rourkela

Course Curriculum Overview:

My Experience at PN College: Campus Life, Cources, and Everything in Between

Placement Experience:

In our college, final-year students are eligile for campus placements. While i don't recall the specific companies that visited, one of my friends interviewed with Axis Bank and got selected with a package of around 2.4 lakh. The exact percentage of students are placed and details of average or highest packages are unclear to me, but the placements process provides opportunities of those actively seeking jobs. After completing my degree, I plan to pursue an independent career rather that seeking a traditioinal job placement.

My goal and i would like to work as a cost accountant..so for this purpose i have choosen this course for study because without degree and knowledge in commerce i have not achieve my goal. In our course the ratio of facility and student is 7:250. Our faculty is well educated and completed all the qualification required to became a professor in college and also awarded from our President of india.. Teaching style, method is very much easy and clear. Every students can easily understand the overall study course. Thr term exam is conducted in 3 month and overall 2 exam is conducted in a semister..1st term exam is 20mark and it is very easy to score the mark but 2nd or final semester exam is 80mark and it is little difficult to score more marks as compared to 1st term exam..

Positive is there are many trees around the campus but the negative one is there is no proper boundary wall for the campus, anyone can jump through the wall and can get inside or go outside of the college campus.

RAVENSHAW UNIVERSITY, CUTTACK is the one and only NAAC A++ tagged Govt university of Odisha also one of in India. Its everyone's dream to study in my University. Ravenshaw univerrsity history is more historic then other colleges and institutes. If you are lucky then you will get the admission into this. Other private and othr colleges you can get admitted by scoring avergae mark or with good amount of money but to get into Ravenshaw only your very good marks and luck is needed for it.
