Remarks

Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology (MMMUT), Gorakhpur was established in 2013 and soon the college has gained lots of popularity in our state. I have to clear the JEE exam and the admission form can be submitted online but I preferred to submit the admission form by visiting the college campus. So after submitting the form I was selected as per my JEE score and I took part in the MMMUT counselling. Through which I was allotted the seat in the college.

Course Curriculum Overview

The college has a very good well-programmed and well-designed curriculum. The curriculum provides us with all the basics and advanced knowledge in the fields of engineering and provides us with all kinds of fundamentals knowledge too. The faculty of our college is not only well experienced but they also have very good research experiences because most of our college faculty are PhD degree holders. The faculty teaching methods are not only simple but they also help us in completing the assignments.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 90000 per year

Internships Opportunities

The college has a very good internship program and the plus point is that we can also opt for off-campus internships if we are getting good opportunities. The stipends for internship usually ranges from 26k to 1.25 lakh.

Placement Experience

Frankly speaking, our college has very good placement programs the salary offers of the college are also very good and the highest salary offer of our college is around 15 LPA and the average salary package is around 7 LPA. The college also maintains a record of 90% placement. Our college was successful in inviting around 100 companies during the college placement drive.

Fees and Financial Aid

Our college has very good scholarship schemes like Smt. Madhuri Rai Scholarship, Late Sh. Sita Ram Gupta Memorial, Late Smt. & Sri Chavali Suryanarayana Memorial Scholarship, Late Sri Shiv Narayan Mishra Memorial Scholarship, RSRM Tripathi Best Project Award, etc. The college offer scholarship as per the merit score and SC/ST category wise.

Campus Life

College life is very good and very interesting. The college campus is very neat and clean. Our college has both indoor and outdoor sports facilities like Basketball Court, Cricket Ground, Football Ground, Tennis Court, Volleyball Court, Hockey Ground, Table Tennis, Chess, Carom. Different departments have different labs like Heat Transfer Lab, Microprocessor Lab, Control System Lab, Network Lab, Communication Lab, Basic Electronics Lab, COE Lab, Window and Unix Lab, Sun Java Lab, Mobile Computing Lab, Concrete Lab, Structure Lab, Geology Lab and many more. Our college library is very huge and we have many books on a variety of topics, there are around more than 1,00,000 books.

Hostel Facilities

The college has a separate hostel for boys and girls. The boys hostels' names are Subhash Bhawan, Raman Bhawan, Vishweswaraya Bhawan (exclusively for first-year boys), Tagore Bhawan and Ambedkar Bhawan and girls' hostel are Saraswati Bhawan, Sarojani Bhawan and Kalpna Chawla Bhawan. The hostel rooms are fully furnished and very nicely cleaned every day. Our hostel food is very good and tasty. The hostel has 24 hours of internet facility through WiFi.

Placement Experience:

After 6 th semester you are eligible for campus placement. Many companies are comes likes Accenture, Cognizant, Wipro, TCS, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Cagegimini etc and they offer decent package. Highest package 3000000 and average package 400000 and profile offered as for company required. 80 percentage student get placement. Take a placement in good MNC company.

Actually I didn't research on the placement. But in college campus I saw many boards of placed students and the average package is around 4-4.5lakh per annum.and college data says about 90%of students are placed. I am preparing for both off-campus and on campus placement.

MMMUT College From My View

Placement Experience:

Our college offer good placement it has average placement of 11 Lpa. Highest package of 52 lpa in Google. There are many company like TCS, L&T, GOOGLE, MICROSOFT, IBM and many more visited our college. If you have CGPA greater than 7 then you are eligible for maximum placement drive. My plan is to get government job.

I choose this course because I want to be a software developer. The faculty are very kind and helpful. Almost every faculty member has completed there post-graduation from various established colleges. The examination scheme is a little bit slow here. Students can pass their semester exams if they are paying at least 45 per cent of their concentration.

I only choose this college as my first and last choice , because this college seems best by my perspective as my rank was not that much good to go nit(107322).so I choose this college as mechanical engineering student over any other college.genrally cutoff for this college for this college is rank of 150000.for lower branch that may be. I have applied for aktu counselling as well and get some good private colleges with cse branch but only chose this college over them because it's a government college and the placement is good here in comparison to that private colleges and it's nirf ranking is also good . I applied to aktu councelling and i was getting all of those colleges and all the subjects, i chose this college because it is not affiliated to AKTU and also MMMUT is a state government college with a well established civil engineering department... Yes i did get rejection from IITs and NITs because of my low jee mains rank In order to get Admission in our college one has to fill the admission form which are generally released after the jee mains examination, one needs to have a jee mains rank of the current year to get admission in the college, generally one needs to have a rank of 60000 to get Admission in this college in CSE branch and around 1.2 lakh for civil engineering branch......Read More
