No regrets only happiness

I don't remember exactly but I wrote eamcet exam after my intermediate and based on the rank I got in the eamcet in second counseling I got the MLRIT College (college code: MLID) as my preferred college. Later I along with my family went to see the college and its faculty surroundings environment and all. As I am a bc candidate a was given reservation benefits to pay half of the amount college fee. The actual fee is 70,000 but due to the bc reservation, I was allowed to pay 35,000 as my tuition fee and an extra 6000 for NBA fee aac fee and library fee, and jntuh fee.

As I was interested in CSE for my personal motivation and inspiration I won't regret being a student of MLRIT college. The faculty out there are very supportive helping and motivating us to be the better version of ourselves. Encourages to participate in all kinds of co-curricular and extra-curricular activities that can boot your interest. Very cooperative faculty in the class and even in the laboratories( labs).In Narayana, we were taught to byheart the concepts of the topic but here we were encouraged to put our own knowledge in the exam paper and our own understood concept to be written on paper and the marks were given as per the content written in the answer sheet.No matter the own sentences or definitions in the textbook, we have given marks if the answer is correct.

As our college is a COE for Virtusa and has some domains that virtusa provides excellence. The internship is provided in three different domains. And also from other companies, the internships are also offered for other students. And the stipend paid to the students is also a good amount making them feel that their earning phase of life had just begun.

From the 3rd year itself, the placement season starts in our college. We have a CRT team in our college for campus placements. And tha faculty are very helpful in achieving placement in a company. The CRT team has every required faculty to make the students crack the placements. The team has aptitude , reasoning verbal soft skills and technical faculty to teach the over all company required skills for a student. All the training for the crt eligible students is started from 3rd yr 1st sem and ends in 3rd yr 2nd sem. And the campus placements start in the 3rd yr 2nd sem and continuous to go till 4 2 sem. To tell the list of companies visited the college for placements is difficult.but every company offers an average of 4lpa package to the students.To my knowledge the placement percentage is 95 to 98%. After getting the degree, my plans are to settle down in a good company with a good package in my abg and become an independent women who can bear her expenses on her own.

I don't know for other reserved candidates but for me, the fee was a bit large amount that cannot be paid by a middle-class family father, As I am from a middle-class family I know how stressful the payment is. But yet my father could arrange the money and pay it. And discussing the scholarships, they were given on time to the scholarship-eligible students. We used to apply for the scholarships in trespass and submit the acknowledgment in the admin office. Placements are the one which impresses me about our college much. When the placement season starts in our college the art department tries very hard to make each and every student of MLR college would get placed and shape their future into a better shape. MLR college has a good placement history and is still trying to get a better benchmark every year. Even this year 2022, many students with 2022 passports have got placed in more than 5 companies. I am proud that I am one among them.

There are lots of annual and tech fests that are conducted by our college that we enjoy a lot. Tech events are also conducted by our college. For all these kinds of events, our college has clubs namely came club literary for annual events, and for tech events like hackathons we have scope club. And talking about the availability of books and journals in libraries there are plenty of books that can be read by the students in the library. There is an amazing facility to give the books for students to take home for almost 10 to 14 days and return to the library before the last date. Sports play a major role in one's life for making the person healthy and fit and active. There are many events that are conducted by our college management like cycling, badminton, boxing. Our college encourages young talent and helps them prove their talent by allowing them to attend competitions. There are Instagram and Facebook pages that are for the students run by the students.
