Admission is an easy process only. No entrance exam is required. I joined through counselling. The application form is available on the college website. You can avail Parthasarathy Scholarship if your cutoff is above 180. A great opportunity for all toppers. Mechatronics is available only in a few reputed colleges in TN. Our college is one among them. So you can go for it if you wish!
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose CSE. I chose this because I love coding and I'm interested in learning new skills. Experienced faculty are available here! Study hours are conducted for hostel students especially! UPC (University preparation class) is a very effective and helpful one for students. By using this we never get arrear and we can score above 8 cgpa for sure!
Placement Experience
Right From the third year(after the 5th semester) you'll be getting placements. Our college provides plenty of placement offers. List of companies: TCS, Wipro, Pega Systems, Ford, Zoho, Mr Cooper, Virtusa, Hexaware, CTS, Tech Mahindra, Bank of America, Serendebyte, Compress, Legato, Kaar Technologies, Qualcomm Technologies. These are for CSE and ECE departments. Almost 99% of students get placed!
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees structure is quite normal like other engineering colleges in TN. But scholarships can be availed for students with above 180 cutoffs! It's a wonderful opportunity for middle and lower-class people. So kindly make use of it before admission.
Campus Life
Takshashila will be conducted every year during even semester which is a magnificent technocultural event (national level symposium). The promos will be awesome! The library consists of various journals and books. It's also useful for research purposes! Sports are not considered at all!! If you are a good sports player kindly don't choose CIT! No importance for sports.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel contains only common bathrooms and toilets. But it'll be clean and maintained frequently hostel mess provides hygienic food with average taste. The hostel registration process means nothing. When you come for admission you can tell whether you need a hostel facility or not. But since the college is located outside the city area, hostel students find it difficult to go inside City! I am currently staying in PG in Porur.
