Remarks

The admission starts in the months between July August. The eligibility of the course is that candidate should have passed 10+2 with any stream only you have to get minimum 40% marks. Than you are eligible to apply for the admission. There is no entrance exam you can apply online on the official website ts dost or you can visit nearby internet cafe. The application fee is 750 rs only. Or you can take admission direct from the preferred college. There is a reservation for the sc,st and minority students.

Course Curriculum Overview

I have choose this course because I am very much interested in business and management. This course gives us good insight into commerce and accountings. The faculty-students ratio of our college is 2:50 which is very good. The faculty in our college is very good and well experienced and has good qualifications and they use review-based teaching methods all most all facilities are PhD holders.ever semesters We have 2 internal examinations which are very easy to pass.

The fee at chanakya degree college is 12000 rs per year and there are other fees like exam fee, labrary fee and lab fee etc. If you get admission through counseling process than can apply for the state scholarship on ts epass website online or you can visit nearby meeseva center. If you are from management quota than you have to pay the full fee or you can apply for the national scholarship on nsp website this scholarship is based on merit of your previous year. There is no jobs in the College campus.

Campus Life

Every year we have freshers parties which are very enjoyable. We have dance, music, theatre, quiz competition in our college every year a science fest is conducted in which other college students also visit. The campus of our college is very big the classroom has a good infrastructure. The labrary has all the books neat and clean available at any time. The has a canteen which provides fresh food, snacks and lunch at affordable price. We have social group in which we discussed about exam and lab experiment. Overall all the campus life of our college is very good.

Harsh reality of a college student

Placement Experience:

Placements of my college promises for big companies but there very few companies came with not a satisfactory salary package.As it only offers with an average salary or 350000. And they do not tell how to present ourself for placement interview.

Placement Experience:

5 th semester students are eligible for the placements. And in the 3 rd and 4 th semester our college conducts some placement related activities,by those we were able to crack placements in the top companies like TCS, HCL, Infosys etc.Most of the students are placed in campus only.

Students because eligible for the campus placements from final year that is 5-6 semester. The companies visited college for placements are EY, Deloitte, ADP, Sutherland, Accenture, sagility, JP Morgan organ, Genpact ect. Companies minimise package offered to the students is 2LPA and maximum about 5-6LPAm. The students getting placements is above 65% but placements are given on the basis on everything including the performance in interview process etc. Some Students are planning do there higher education in states and other are planning to to jobs .

I chose Bcom Honours to get ready for the future employment and training .I spoke to a career counselor who advised this course to me The curriculum prepares me very well as it contains every part of management which is done in employment.
