Remarks

The eligibility for getting admission into the B.Com course is that the student should have passed 10+2 with 40% aggregate from a recognized board. There is no entrance test for admission into a degree in TS but the admission process is online vis TS DOST where you have to register and Select any 5 preferable colleges based on 10+2 scores seat is allotted. Keep your previous Memos, Tc, and Conduct certificates ready for college verification. The registration starts in august every year you have to pay an application fee of Rs 200. The whole process is online and very easy.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course helps in understanding how commerce is used in business industries. There are many subjects like Income Tax, Financial Accounting, RDBMS, Business laws, etc which gives comprehensive and detailed knowledge about the course. The faculty members at R.G kedia are commendable because they teach very well and have vast experience in the subject. The Lecturers are well qualified and help students who understand the topics. End-semester exams are held two times a year.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is an opportunity for scholarships for students who are unable to pay the fee. Each year the state govt provides scholarships for students in many fields you can also apply for scholarships via Ts Epass website. There is no application fee for applying for a scholarship. The fees for B.Com at R.G kedia college of commerce is Rs 15000 which is very less compared to other colleges. The campus does not have any jobs.

Campus Life

The college life at R.G kedia is very nice you will learn a lot of things when leaving the college. Students are encouraged to take part in many cultural programs and awareness campaigns. The infrastructure of the college is very good and the classrooms are very big. The library has all the books needed. Moreover, the computer labs are well equipped with new computers. The annual fest happens every year before the semester ends. There is a ground in the college for sports and other extracurricular activities. overall I like this college very much.

Even from 1th sem we are eligible for placement and there aee many companies like infosis etc. And average package is about 5lpa the percentage of students getting placed is around like 60-85%. My plans after degree is to open some business

Harsh reality of a college student

Placement Experience:

Placements of my college promises for big companies but there very few companies came with not a satisfactory salary package.As it only offers with an average salary or 350000. And they do not tell how to present ourself for placement interview.

Placement Experience:

5 th semester students are eligible for the placements. And in the 3 rd and 4 th semester our college conducts some placement related activities,by those we were able to crack placements in the top companies like TCS, HCL, Infosys etc.Most of the students are placed in campus only.

Students because eligible for the campus placements from final year that is 5-6 semester. The companies visited college for placements are EY, Deloitte, ADP, Sutherland, Accenture, sagility, JP Morgan organ, Genpact ect. Companies minimise package offered to the students is 2LPA and maximum about 5-6LPAm. The students getting placements is above 65% but placements are given on the basis on everything including the performance in interview process etc. Some Students are planning do there higher education in states and other are planning to to jobs .

I chose Bcom Honours to get ready for the future employment and training .I spoke to a career counselor who advised this course to me The curriculum prepares me very well as it contains every part of management which is done in employment. The teaching method can be changed alot ,but the course curriculum can be made more practical as similar to the workplace. The timing and frequency of exams is good ,every semester exam comes in 4-6 months
