Remarks
Students have to clear the IPU CET examination and must score above 50% in the 12th examination in any recognized board. Students must have passed the 12th with English as one of the subjects or with an English medium. The application form is available on the GGSIPU site till 30th April.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course provides excellent exposure to the students because of which I chose this course. The faculty is well qualified and most of the faculty has completed their PhD. Each semester has mid term and end term exam. If you prepare well the exams are easy to pass.
Internships Opportunities
Internships are offered in 2nd year. Many big companies offer internship for print journalism, PR and advertising. Students get to work with professionals which help them for reaching their goals in future.
Placement Experience
After the 6th-semester students become eligible for campus placement. 60-70% of students got good placements. My plan after getting the degree is to pursue a master's or get a job in some media company. Companions like Amazon, Wipro have visited the college.
Fees and Financial Aid
The total fee is 97545. The scholarship is also provided by Delhi Government. The fees is divided into University charges(15000), activity fee(3,000), conferences, seminar and miscellaneous events (3,500), visits(one time) and alumni fund(one time) each is 2000 and security fees(5000)
Campus Life
ICAN and CIFFI are the two most important annual events of DME media school. Library is well equipped with excellent books. Classroom are also very nice. DME has different societies and sports clubs for curricular activities and sports.
