Remarks
Minimum 33% marks required in 12th class. Application is made via online mode only. No such reservations but extra marks are given to students who have excelled in NCC or sports or other fields if the process of admission is by merit list. But now there is an entrance exam and it has no reservations. It has the best admission procedure so no improvement is required.
Course Curriculum Overview
Because I wanted to prepare for civil services. The college also provides free civil services classes in the geography department. The faculty-student ratio is decent. And more and more attention is given to each student individually. Most faculty members are highly qualified to have Ph.D. degrees and they are so soft-spoken and encourage students in their preparation and help in the development of overall personality. Teachers are easy to reach and will give you the best advice. Too many tests and exams occur frequently. Unit tests, assignments, internals, viva, and many more surprise tests sometimes become hectic but it helps for semester exams, so it's worth it. The exam pattern was moderate but the pattern became easier to pass post covid. There are two long questions from each unit and 5 short questions asked in the semester exams. The choice is also given in the long questions. One has to attempt 4 out of 8 long questions. Results are published timely and mark sheets are provided
Placement Experience
Last semester companies like TCS, Wipro, HCL, Zomato, Flipkart, Amazon, and many companies come to provide placements with decent salaries and job opportunities. 40+% students get the job And most students feel happy with the job available. I am planning to prepare for govt jobs and but I am also looking forward to my college for good placements
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is very average like 4 to 5 thousand per year for a bachelor in arts (regular seats) Most of the seats in BSc bvoc BBA are self-financed but their fees get paid via scholarship easily . ( Government scholarship for all). The cost to study is very low. Minimal hikes in fees seen. No job was given on stipend and no such scholarship by the college but by the state government only.
Campus Life
Not many cultural events happen but still, there are many opportunities for co-curricular development. The library is fine with a handsome amount of books but due to a large number of students, most books become unavailable at the time of need. The library faculty is extremely bad and poor management is seen in the library. Poor library timings and mismanagement have become the core. Classrooms are poor with 1 or 2 fans and lesser space to sit. 6-7 students sit at a single desk. Cricket football and kabaddi are played. Few unofficial social media pages are run by students but clubs and groups are strictly prohibited.
Interview Experience
No interview no group discussion, our admission was done on the basis of marks obtained in the 12th class only. During covid, no entrance exam was taken. Usually, those who even pass the exam have to be present in counseling and choose their subjects and nothing else.
