Remarks

For admission in IIT KANPUR one have to give the JEE Mains Exam followed by JEE advanced. Application form of JEE Mains Exam are available in the month of January and then April. All candidate who will qualify JEE Mains exam can sit in JEE Advanced exam. All those who will qualify JEE Advanced can go through JOSSA counselling process to avail the seat in IIT Kanpur. All the seats will be filled according to reservation given by central government.

I have fasicinated about the chemical engineering that's why I have have chosen it. Faculty student ratio is 1:10. All the faculty are highly qualified and their teaching style is also good. Exams are conducted timely and there is relative grading in exam.

Class Size: 107Course Fees: INR 200000 per year

Internships Opportunities

All the big MNCs visits the campus for internships and offered role for Software Development Engineer. Data analysts Core profiles etc. Projects are offered under Professors also. Overall the internship season is very good.

Placement Experience

From 7th semester company's start visiting the campus for hiring students. Around 350-400 campanies visits the campus. Highest package this year is 2 CR. And lowest is around 15 Lakhs. Overall the placement is good .

Fees and Financial Aid

All those who are financially not good can avail scholarship. All students whose family's annual income is less than 1 Lakh can avail full fee concession. And those whose family income lies between 1 Lakh to 5 Lakh their 2/3 of fess will be consessed.

Campus Life

Annual Fest are techkriti and antaragini. Annual sports fest is Udghosh. In Library all kind of books available . Social life is good at campus. All kind of sports student can play. And can be a part of various clubs like Robotics,etc.

Hostel Facilities

Fan Table Chair Bed Lan cable connectivity are available in room. The meal quality is also good. All Btech students can only live in hostels. No day scholars are allowed. Overall the hostel is very good.

After 6 th semester you are eligible for campus placement. Many companies are comes likes Accenture, Cognizant, Wipro, TCS, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Cagegimini etc and they offer decent package. Highest package 3000000 and average package 400000 and profile offered as for company required. 80 percentage student get placement. Take a placement in good MNC company.

Actually I didn't research on the placement. But in college campus I saw many boards of placed students and the average package is around 4-4.5lakh per annum.and college data says about 90%of students are placed. I am preparing for both off-campus and on campus placement.

Our college offer good placement it has average placement of 11 Lpa. Highest package of 52 lpa in Google. I choose this course because I want to be a software developer. The faculty are very kind and helpful. Almost every faculty member has completed there post-graduation from various established colleges. The examination scheme is a little bit slow here. Students can pass their semester exams if they are paying at least 45 per cent of their concentration.

I choose this college becouse of its flexible acdemic structure and its great Alum connections. Also this is the best college i am getting according to my rank and my interest in mathematics. I have Applied for IIT delhi in electronics. IIT Delhi is also a great college but when it comes to academic focus IIT delhi lacks there. Also there faculty administratation is so strict. if a student wants to start something or he/she has a new iniative for the college , he/she will face hard time. So I couldn't make it to IIT Roper CSE branch because my jee adance rank is not that great for the Roper' Computer science. So the Admission process here at IITK is not difficult. You just the originaly document which you have submitted in your josa counselling portal and you need to verify it once here usually a couple opf hours work. I chose IIT Kanpur over othe rcooleges because of its academic reputation, research opportunities and strong alumini network. I was also able to get seats in other IITs but I preferred IIT Kanpur due to its legacy . I didn't face rejections, but did not opt for some colleges even after qualifying due to lower research output, weaker placement stats.
