MGIT - Premeir institute in telugu states

After giving all my entrance exams, I searched many instituion at time of my web counselling, I got 36996 rank in JEE mains and 5098 in TS EAMSET. I belong to general category, so I don't have any reservation quato. I always wanted to study computer science. Seeing my mains rank I lost hope in getting a seat in national institutes like NIT and IIIT's . i decided to join a institute in my state only. Though eamcet i got computer science seat in Vardhman college of engineering, in first web allotment. I also applied for B - catogery seat(seats given based on JEE mains rank) in CBIT, vasavi , VNR VJIET and MGIT. I couldn't get cse seat in CBIT and Vasavi in first allotment . I got IT in VNR and CSE in MGIT. I opted MGIT over VNR, even though VNR is more popular than MGIT . MGIT is a very old premier institute belonging to Chaitanya Bharathi Educational Society. The society also owns CBIT , which the top college in telangana state. For B- Category, application fee is 2000 rupees only.

I chose Computer science and engineering, because of my passion for technology and innovations in the modern world. Our college has been an autnomous status in the year 2021 for a period of 10 years by UGC. So now my college is an independent body conducting its own exams and syllabus. The curriculum is diverse and students in our college are provided with the best knowledge. I am not aware of the student-faculty ratio but every class has two charges and for every 9 students we have a student mentor who looks after the student's well-being. We are being given assignments very often and exams are conducting for every 2- 3 months. Professors in our college are well educated and almost every professor carries a Ph.D. degree. Even a below-average student can pass the exam if he puts a minimum of his effort. Attendence of 75 percent is a must for every student for appering in semester end exam. In rare cases, 65 percent is also permitted. Every class has a projector, so teaching becomes easy.

I am a first-year student. I joined MGIT in December 2021. I have been told that internships are offered during summer vacations in the second year. I am sorry that I could answer this question because I have not been part of any internship as I am very new. But I can assure you that our college offers a very good number of internships

A total of 80+ companies visited our college last year. The highest package is 16 LPA offered by arcessium. Top companies visiting our college are cognizant, Wipro,tcs, Accenture, ola, virtusa, modax, wileynxt. Nearly 900 students out of 1100 got placed and the average package is around 4.5 LPA. Many students who passed out in our college go abroad for higher studies, also some students go for government services like IAS, IPS, IRS, etc. Some also start their our startups and create employment for many. Students also secure good jobs in off-campus drives, in fact, one of our students secured 40 LPA in amazon in an off-campus drive. I am working on different platforms to make a plan.

Students who get admission get addmission through EAMCET may get scholarships if they belong to any backward classes. since I am not the one who got the seat from EAMCET, I am not aware what is the process of getting a scholarship. I am a first-year student, So I don't know much about internships and jobs are given to students, but I can assure that my college placement cell is very active on conducting various drives on our campus

Nirvana is the annual fest conducted in our college. Every branch conducts its own technical fest. They are usually conducted in march. Our college has a very gaint library having more than 10,000 books and international journals. Every student having an ID card can enter the room for reference or for taking. Our classrooms are pretty good and they can accommodate upto 65 students. We have projectors in every classroom. Classrooms are spacious and very well ventilated. We have a cricket ground, football ground, basketball courts, volleyball courts and an indoor sports room having table tennis. There are many clubs in our college, music club - symphony, drama club- spotlight, literary club, idea incubator, NGO club-like streetcars - might. Last month a new club related to coding is also started. we also have a very good dancing club called beat cruisers.
