Remarks
Cutoffs are nothing but the marks obtained by the last student being declared qualified. To make it more clear, let's take an example. Suppose 1000 students sit in an exam. Several students who need to be called for counseling are supposed to 500. Now, A rank list is prepared based on the total marks obtained. The marks of the 500th student are taken as the cutoff. For subject-wise cutoffs, the least marks obtained by any of the students among the list of qualified students( top 500 in this example) are taken as the subject cutoff for that individual subject.

For this internship, I recommend being organized and writing a list of goals. It is amazing to look back at the end of your internship to see how much you have learned and achieved. Building a strong connection with your supervisor will make the internship experience a lot more fulfilling. If there is something that you wish to learn or get out of the internship, ask your supervisor, as they will love to share knowledge.
