Remarks
The admission process for this college is very simple. You need a decent rank to enter this college. Once you've given the jee exam and scored a final rank, take that rank to fill upcet counseling. After getting this college freeze your seat and come for final admission with the documentation and fees required.
Course Curriculum Overview
Nearly all courses in India are similar to B.Tech in computer science so chose this college and course due to its closeness to my city and it has a good placement history. The faculty here is okayish like you would expect. Most teachers are very educated and pay to focus on students but only a few are not upto the mark. I think the ratio here is 1:20 which means for every 20 students there is a teacher. Term exams are very often although it's not very difficult. Studying an hour daily will fetch you good marks.
Internships Opportunities
Having very little knowledge about it but still, companies like amazon, google, and Microsoft are seen taking only a handful of students for their placements. Other companies like cognizant, TCL, and Infosys are also seen.
Placement Experience
Since I'm currently studying in 1st year. I don't have much knowledge about it but still, I have heard seniors saying that they're eligible from 3rd-year end onwards and this college has campus placements. Many companies visit our college giving a decent amount of salary to students. The highest off-campus placement this year was 1.2 Crs to a student while the lowest is 3L. My plan is to do MS from a well-reputed university in the USA.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee is not very high and is appropriate for a B.Tech degree which is 1.2L per year including both the sems. Students are getting placed into amazon and Microsoft companies and getting paid around 15-20L per annum.
Campus Life
It is very surprising to see that this college doesn't have any fests although it's one of the most prestigious colleges in Uttar Pradesh. Books are mostly available in our library. I don't have much knowledge as I'm too enthusiastic of reading books. The classroom is well equipped with all amenities excluding the ACs so imagine a summer class. Sports and extracurricular is also fine with a small cricket field for students. There are many social and drama clubs in our college namely taal, verve, horizon, etc.
Hostel Facilities
The rooms are really pathetic without anything proper in place. In short it's not comfortable. Only advantage of living in a hostel is that college is easily accessible and nothing else. The rooms are not equipped with Acs so its very difficult to survive summers. The meal is okayish, especially for veg students like me as they don't give non-veg anywhere in the college. Registration is simple and you'll get a hostel easily.
