The admission process was very smooth, I filled up my UPSEE counselling form and after the counselling I was allotted AKG CSE at 77k rank, however the closing of this branch was at 71k due to some reason it didn't rise rather fell back from 79k to 71k. I was lucky enough to get a seat in CSE core so
Course Curriculum Overview
The faculty members of 1st year are very supportive, all of them are very supportive towards your studies. They are always there to solve your doubts politely and try their best to release stress from you. Especially some of them are really really nice. Depends on your section. Exams are held from time to time and their Evaluation is done on time too, the difficult level is average. Difficult from average AKTU exams. It isn't difficult to pass if you've studied enough for them. Faculty teachers are all almost PHds from IIT
Internships Opportunities
Internship opportunities are there from 3rd year onwards. Mostly amazon and many other companies hire students for the students. I'm not sure about the roles offered. Also the projects and outcomes are something that would be clear only when you yourself go through it
Placement Experience
Campus placements are really above average here. One thing akgec is known for are its placement and discipline. Many companies like TCS, Wipro, Amazon etc visit our campus and the offered package here would be around 20lac and average for CS/IT student is around 7-8lac and for average package over all the branches it's 5lac. My plan after getting the degree is to work nicely for the company I would hopefully be getting placed in.
Fees and Financial Aid
As per the seniors there were only 3 students from the whole CS/IT branch in the college that couldn't get placed in the college itself so placement is really good here and at the end of the day it depends on you. Scholarships are provided to students who are from fee waiver and financial assistance is also provided by the college if asked.
Campus Life
The campus is really aesthetic, it's small but aesthetic. It's build and managed really well by the college staffs and you get to socialize alot here at different places. There are 2 canteens in the college itself where you can hang out with your friends. Sports is above amazing. To be honest if you're somebody who wants to do sports along with engineering then this would be the best college for you in aktu. Social groups are also there but I have not explored much but EUPHONY is a musical group which is outstanding
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facility is above average. Food is really nice but it just has fans and you're supposed to pay extra for installing coolers and seperately pay rent for it. Registration process is done during the college registration after counselling only. It may or may not be affordable for you but the food is really nice so you can opt for it however the rules are really strict here.
