DESCRIPTION OF JAYPEE INSTITUTE OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY

The process of the admission is that there is a form of Jaypee Institute Of Information Technology of rupees 1200/- which is open around in the month of June and July for admission in that there is two option either you take admission through board or through JEE examination then the student must fill all details properly and the choice preference according to their interest. The student can get the application form from their website www.jiit.ac.in after that student has to wait for the counselling and then if you are eligible for admission to their college they mail you with a complete fees structure and college suit id. Generally, the 93%+ get admission in the CSE sector 62. I personally do not use reservations so I do not know about that. The admission process is the same as it was done before there is no improvement.

I am keen interest in Technology, especially in electronics so I decided to choose this course. The student ratio is good In my class there are 34 students of which 22 students are boys and the rest of the students are girls. Some of the teachers are so helpful that they help you outside their subject in your real life also. But some of the teachers are not good as a summary you should work hard by yourself to get good marks and get placement from the college. Qualification of the faculty is good and the faculty is PhD from IIT and some of the new joining teachers are pursuing PhD the teaching method of the faculty is also good there is a 50 50 ratio between good and bad teachers and the teaching quality is good. There are three exams held in the college first is T1 contain 20 marks second T2 contain 20 marks and T3 contain 35 marks and the rest of 25 marks are in the hand of the teacher which contains attendance marks and assignment and the paper was scored and easy to get marks.

As I am 2nd year student so I did not know about much internships programs held in college because internships can be done in the 3rd year June semester. But as I talk to seniors they told me those internship opportunities are not good in college Students work by themselves on different projects and search for internships outside the campus.

I am Sarthak Garg, a student at Jaypee Institute Of Information Technology currently in my 2nd year B.Tech in electronics and communication branch. According to our vice chancellor Mr V.C Saxena and seeing past records JIIT have a 97% placement rate. The highest package from the college is 55lakhs per annum and the lowest package is 3-4 lakhs per annum. The Average package of the college is 6-7 lakhs per annum for all the branches in the college. Top Recruiting companies are amazon, adobe, ZS associate, and TCS. Internships are very less in our college as there are so many students for internships so the college is unable to provide that. I do not sit in placements till now because I am a 2nd year student so I did not know about the roles. From the 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements. I do a job after getting the degree.

The fees of the Jaypee Institute Of Information are high as the fees for 1 semester of tuition is 100000 and the hostel fees 75000 per semester including accommodation, mess and laundry. The total fees for the BTech are 1600000 including the hostel. And the average package of Jaypee Institute Of Information Technology is 700000 per annum which is good. But one has to study very hard for the placement and self-study is very mandatory for one to get a score in this college. So it is up to you how much you can get from this college. Companies will offer you the best if they see they're a skill in you.

There is a 2 floor LEARNING RESOURCE CENTER (library) available in the college from 9 am to 9 pm with so many books. Tough Classes are old but equipped with advanced projectors and air conditioning facilities. There is also a medical facility in the college for students and they treat the students properly and with patience. Sports and games facilities are not so good in our college.There are one annual fest name IMPRESSION and has different clubs such as IEEE, OPTICA and ROBOTICS hub which is active and students participate in clubs for extracurricular activities. Almost all the books are available in the library including course books and some interesting novels also. Also newspaper come daily in the library so students can read.

The infrastructure of the college is good. A well built campus of 16.6 acres (sector 62) contains all the facilities that a college must have. There is a huge hostel building of 19 floors for 2nd, 3rd and 4th year students and there is a separate building for 1st year. There is no ragging in the college as the college is very strict in these terms and has strict rules and regulations. There is also a medical facility in the college for students. Mess food is the worst food I can ever eat in my life tough some dishes are good and the cafeteria is also huge and have so many dishes. There is AC in hostel rooms which are operated by the college. There is a form given by the college for students who are interested in taking hostel NON NCR students are their first priority.
