Remarks
The exam I took was JEE MAINS and the eligibility is a 10+2 pass in science and a minimum 75% in class 12. All the details can be found on the website of jeemain.nta.nic.in. The only improvement I think I needed is that every student should get the same paper even though they apply normalization process which solves almost all the problems.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course to get a placement in the tech field and get to know about modern-day technology. The student-to-faculty ratio is approximately 30:1 for each subject. The term exams are there 4 times a year and have a fair difficulty level but students attending regular classes can easily pass those.
Placement Experience
You are eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester. Almost all the companies like Microsoft, adobe, uber, etc visit the campus. The highest package offered is 55 LPA by adobe and the average package is 10 lpa, approximately 85% of students are placed each year.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees structure is fairly good and like every other government college and you can apply for some of the scholarships offered to the EWS category and can get a student loan easily as a lot of students apply for that too.
Campus Life
The annual cultural fest is the saptrang and there is also a tech-fest that is held every year. You Can find a lot of books and journals related to many topics in the library. All the classrooms are centrally air-conditioned and the furniture is also brand new as of now. For sports, you will need to go to the old campus of NITD which is 20-30 minutes away.
Hostel Facilities
The facilities provided in hostel are almirah, study table and a chair. The mess food is fine like every other hostel. You would get the hostel easily if you are from other state but there are less chances if you live in home state.
