Remarks

I belong to the state of Andhra Pradesh, where there are many deemed universities. I always wanted to study under a reputed institution, so after my 12th class, writing all my entrance exams, I got a decent rank. I got cse seat in MGIT through web counselling of TS EAMCET. The counselling process if a bit headache but I was received very smoothly at the time of admission. MGIT administration is somewhat fine. I want to see an improvement in the admission process in the aspect of time. It takes a very long time from the declaration of results to allotment of seats to reporting to the college.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Computer science and engineering are the only branches that are cherished in today's world. So I decided to opt for CSE. The student-faculty ratio is somewhat to like near 1:15. But I am not sure of the exact ratio. Almost every teacher holds a decent degree in their subject. They are well qualified and teach in a way that every student understands the concepts very clearly. The teachers are somewhat friendly but strict in their curriculum. We often have exams and assignments are given on a weekly basis where time plays a major role. Our college has many labs with good equipment. It's not that easy to pass the exams because our college is not in autonomous mode.

Placement Experience

4

I am still a first-year student, so I barely have any idea about placement, I heard that MGIT has a decent placement rate. Due to the present covid situation, everything has become online and there is no interaction between 1st year and remainning years. I could give you some information from my college website. TOP companies like TCS, WIPRO, Cognizant, arcesium, Infosys, ola electric visit our college. the highest package is around 16 LPA and the average package is 4.5 LPA. Even non-IT branch student gets placed in its sector companies, and that is the beauty of MGIT. The placement cell is very active and conducts many placement drives in college regularly. 80 percent of students get placed and many go for abroad studies.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are increased only when they are approved by govenrment regulation committee. There are various scholarships that are provided at MGIT. The government gives a full fees reimbursement for merit students who gets a rank below 10000 in EAMCET. There is no financial assistance given by our college. If someone is so skilful they can get an internship from the college for various companies.

Campus Life

5

The annual fest is Nirvana is famous for its own. Every branch conducts its own tech fest like qubit, mech, etc MGIT has a very big library with more than 10k books. The library has a sitting capacity of 100+ Reference sections and takes home sections are present in our library. Books taken should be returned in 14 days. MGIT classrooms are neat and kept tidy. Projectors are fixed almost in every classroom. a classroom can accommodate up to 60 members. MGIT has a very big cricket ground.
