Best college for doing BCA in Delhi.

Admission is based on computer based CET. IP university conducts its own entrance, application process generally begins in first week of March. You need 60% aggregate marks in 12th to be eligible. Application fee is 1200 INR. There are 3 sections in exam i.e., Maths, English and Computer Awareness. You need to get a rank under 290 for First shift and under 600 for second shift. There is no OBC or EWS reservation but it has SC/ST and defence category reservation.

Choose BCA only if you can't get admission in B.Tech as 3 year tech degree is not valid in most foreign countries and hence MNC's and other companies don't prefer BCA grads for recruitment, their eligibility criteria is atleast B.tech/MCA. Faculty to student ratio is 15:1. First shift faculties comprises mostly of ph.d holders but second shift faculties are mostly post graduates and few ph.d's. Teaching is for namesake you have learn everything on your own, but faculties are highly supportive nonetheless in every aspect.No smart boards are there but smart screens are being installed in almost every lab this year. Passing exams is peace of cake and faculties gives marks leisurely in internals just be consistent and don't be a outlaw.

In last sem students become eligible for placements. Deloitte, infosys,wipro,SAP laps, and few other like grow,ZS associates recruit from our college, average packages roam around 3.6 lpa and highest package last year was 7.84 lacs and placements used to be great here before covid but now placements are on decline. Only 45 students of 2021 passout got job as per records in university website

First year fee for 2021 is 1,07,000 as it includes University charges and security charges + miscellaneous. Second and third year fee will be 86,400 in both years. There is merit-cum-means scholarship of delhi government, there is also IP university internal EWS scholarship forms for both of which are released generally in Feb and are notified in University's website. SC/ST scholarship is also available. Placements are on decline since covid outbreak but still better than other IP institutes that offer BCA. Average packages are very humble 3.6 LPA.

College's own annual fest Genesis happens in January and University fest anugoonj happens at same time. No other university or college student is allowed in college fest. You can issue books from library and there are sufficient copies for everyone, you can read journal in library but can't issue them, library and labs have AC's but classrooms have only fans. There are projectors in some classes where its required, smart boards are not there. Extra curricular is abysmal, can't even procure a football from college have to bring your own. There are various societies, clubs in college and they are generally active as they are run by students so they keep organising events every now and then. Thumbs up for societies ????.
