A Short Review on GLA MATHURA

The eligibility criteria for students belonging to PCM is 60% and the scholarship criteria for students belonging to the PCM stream was 80%. The application form available on our university portal named GLAMS was 750 rupee for the general category and if we have already downloaded the gla university app then the fee was 500 rupee. The main application dates start at the starting of July and end nearly September. As I am a student of the general category so I was not able to get benefits. Students having a reservation can enjoy benefits. I had a great interaction with the staff who helped me with my admission.

I found the engineering branch interesting so I chose it. They are adequate faculties for students. Sometimes when our semester was changing then there was a little bit of haste so we didn't have many faculties and our classes were usually cancelled as faculties also had a busy schedule. The faculties are well qualified with professional degrees in their field of education. Some are even graduated from colleges outside of India. Exams are timely and well organized by the management.

At the end of the 5th semester or we can say in the 3rd year we are eligible to sit for placements. Many companies visit our campus like Microsoft, Wipro, Accenture, Capgemini and many more. The highest package one of the students who got this year was 32 lakh rupees and the lowest package was 4 lakh rupees per annum. As of now, 80 % of students get placed every year. I also want to get a good package and a good job.

As our university is a private university so the fees here are more as compared to government colleges. The cost to study is much higher. Parents' hard-earned money is spent on our studies and that too we don't have career security. As I have cse specialized branch so I have to pay more for it. The scholarship we can fill here is named as up government scholarship which is provided by the government of up to support students financially. The criteria for students to fill this scholarship is that they should score more than 70% in 12th and more than 70% in PCM. The family income should not exceed more than 2 lakh rupees and the parents of the students should not be government workers. I didn't get a scholarship in my first year as the scholarship didn't come to the whole of Mathura city. Internships are provided by the companies. Simply if you perform well you'll get a job. The stipend is also provided by the company to the interns.

The campus life here is beautiful and busy. Students are in haste for their classes and they are involved in various clubs. Our college conducts various fests and seminars. We have various clubs and students participate in these acts. We have a huge library with lovely books. Sports clubs are also good we have different clubs regarding these. Students are involved in extracurricular activities like art, photography, and technique work regarding drones and bikes. We have a photography club named Drishti. We have a singing and dancing club named ninad. And various sports clubs.

Our hostel facilities provide us with fans, a bed, a table, a chair and a bulb. We have adequate water points and clean washrooms. We also have workers who clean our rooms. And they are very sweet and helpful. As for the mess, our food is better as compared to other colleges in the city but still some dishes are overly spicy or some are not that good in taste. We have a good menu. Each meal has a different variety of food. We have Sunday special and special food for girls students who are on fasts. Registration for our hostel can be done through our portal and students can submit the fees online or offline mode.
