Good choice in private universities - GLA

For getting admission to GLA UNIVERSITY you must have secured a minimum of 55% in your 12th class. And there will be an entrance test if you have less than 80% marks. And for students who have secured more than 80% marks, they would get direct admission and that too with a scholarship. And you will get an application form from the main building that is AB-l.

GLA is known for the CSE branch of Btech. Its CSE branch is really very good compared to other private universities. And I have a keen interest in computers that's why I have chosen this course at GLA. Most faculties are well qualified with some exceptions. The student ratio is Boys: Girls::65:35. There are two terms in a semester - mid-term and end term. Mid-term is 30 marks and end term of 50 marks. The toughness level of exams are average and we can pass them with a little bit of effort. But checking answer sheets is not lenient.

From the 6th semester students are eligible for placements here. Nearly 250 students placed before 4th year. Microsoft, Amazon, TCS, Wipro, Capgemini, Infosys, Zara Hatke, and many more visit the university. Many students also offered 4-5 placements. The highest package is 32 LPA and the average for CSE is 6 LPA. Nearly all students got placed from GLA.

Fee for normal CSE BRANCH is 170k. For specialization like AIML, IOT, Cloud computing, Cyber security etc is 190k. Yes college provides scholarships for merititious students. It's good about GLA that everyone of CSE branch got placed here.

BLF id the largest fest of GLA. Other fests are brajmeela, aagaaz, e-conclave, hackathon, etc. The library is good enough at GLA having a lot of books and journals. 1st-year classrooms are too good having modern facilities but from 2nd year onwards classrooms are just okay okay. A lot of sports activities are here at GLA like GLA PREMIERE LEAGUE and MAITRI. Groups run by students are ninad, drishti, vithi, GLA voice club and many more.

The hostel fee for a two-seater is 62k. Cleanliness and other hostel facilities are good and the meal is also decent according to the money paid. Mess at GLA works on a no profit no loss method. The mess fee is approx 35k and the menu is made by students. We can easily book a hostel and mess from the online portal of the university. Yes, there are a lot of PG, flats around the university and at very low prices compared to GLA.
