Remarks

The admission process is very lengthy and time consuming. My admission process took approx 5 months due to some cases on the entrance test(NEET). There is also a reservation in our college for a state quota of 85% and AIQ15%. To avail of the benefit of the state quota student must have passed his/her 12th class from a recognised school in Delhi otherwise he/she will be counted in AQI(All India Quota).

Course Curriculum Overview

5

I loved Biology in class 11 so that's why I choose to be in medicine rather than engineering and our college, is the best in India for Medicine. The student faculty ratio is 20:1 so it is pretty good and all the faculty members are post graduated or even PhD and have study experience of around more than 10 years, even some also have 15+ years of experience.

Internships Opportunities

5

There is 100%internship in our own hospital affiliated with our college that is RML Hospital Delhi which was established in 1942 by the English government. The patient load is very high so that you can get enough exposure to patients. And Most important you also get a stipend of 26,700 rs per month during your internship.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees of our college are not costly only 39000 per year. You can compare it with private institutes which have a fee of approx 20 lakhs per year even other govt institutes also have fees of approx 1 lakh per year so it is not very costly.

Campus Life

5

Generally, the college fest is about 7 days and conducted in May month. The library of our college is also very good which have approximately all the books of medicine and popular journals. We also have a page on Instagram of our college where you can find sports or other clubs.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The MBBS curriculum is mostly standard, but its relevance is super high because of the massive patient load at SJH. That clinical exposure is the key thing that prepares you for both real life and NEET PG later—that’s why I chose VMMC. Improvements? We need less lecturing and more interactive case discussions and maybe more emphasis on research. Exams are non-stop, seriously! We have internals/semester exams every 3-4 months. They are tough (50% passing), but they force you to study well for the final big Proffs. It’s tiring, but it works.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very well structured and includes detailed study of all the aspects of medicine which is very relevant in today's world. Since mbbs curriculum is more about practical and less about theory we get a really good patient exposure which makes us ready to deal with patient problems in real life. The course curriculum can be made a little less hectic as in fourth year there are 11 subjects to cover so they can be distributed equally in all the other years and teaching methods can be made more interactive instead of professors just reading the slides monotonously

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum of mbbs is very comprehensive and makes you capable of handling medical emergencies, and not miss out on diagnosing critical cases. With the new CBME curriculum by nmc in place, additional focus is also given on the AETCOM (attitude, ethics and communication) module which is aimed at improving the quality of healthcare professionals produced by this country.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is decided by the NMC therefore it is same for all of the doctors. Our college has a good clinical exposure and thus we learn a lot. The course prepares you well, but you always have to learn by yourself. In the area of clinical expertise the treatment of common disease must be taught separately. We have exams Nearly every 3 months, which can be tough to manage, considering that you have to score an average of more than 50% in them . Difficulty level is intermediate
