I had taken the exam of UPSEE (now UPCET) to get admission to BTech. I am a lateral entry student. I had got 933 ranks in general, 243 rank in OBC and 8 rank in AF(armed force) category. My first choice was IET Lucknow and 2nd choice was JSSATEN.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose this course because after B.Tech many opportunities are there. The faculty is good all are PhD holders and very experienced. The entrance exam is not so hard its normal but u have basic knowledge of science and mathematics.
Internships Opportunities
There are many CS, IT and core companies come like Accenture, TCS, Wipro, mother sons Sumi conductor, Zaro, Zia semiconductor and many more of average 3 to 4 LPA. I had made a hybrid electric rickshaw for my major project.
Placement Experience
From 5th sem. Students are eligible for internship and campus placements. Wipro, TCS, Accenture, polycab , torrent power and many more companies are coming for campus placements. About 90% and more students from CS and IT gets placed. Most companies demand 60% and more academics to be eligible for campus placement.
Fees and Financial Aid
In 1st year fees are 145000 after that from 2nd to 4th year fees are 12000. The scholarship is 56000 for obc and general and 112000 for sc and st candidates. Many companies come to college for placement.
Campus Life
Jalecon fest in February month of 5 days last 2 days are DJ nights. All books of all writers are provided in the library. AC and wifi is also provided in the library. Sports fest mattri also functions in October month. Many societies are also there to improve the personality of students.
