Very good and disciplined college. But Mechanical engineering department domination is more at that time. Overall i conclude that our college is best.
Entrance Preview
I took EAMCET entrance exam and got 35318 rank. I opted this college as it is very good university campus for chemical engineering branch.
Internships Opportunities
Actually for graduation there is no stipend at that time. But as it is government university college, fee structure is different from private colleges.
Placement Experience
In our class 15 people are placed out of 50. At that time only software companies came. But core industries have not come for placements. Satyam, Wipro, TCS and IBM came for placements. They offered 4-5 lachs CTC on an average.But in Civil department all are placed.
College Events
In our department we conducted national level seminar on chemical engineering topics every year. The title of that seminar was FUSION. Apart from this every year Our college fest was conducted.
Fee Structure And Facilities
As our college is government university fee structure is feasible every year we used to pay Rs. 8500/-. Apart from this we have to pay for food in hostel and that was around Rs. 1000 - 1500/- per month.
Fees and Financial Aid
No scholarships were offered by college. But for reserved candidates with low income used to get scholarship from state government.
Campus Life
Campus life is very good we had big cricket ground all well equipped gym. Every year at the time of college day, we enjoyed sports meet. Lab and library facilities are excellent.
Hostel Facilities
Our hostels are very good. We have year wise hostels. In first year 6 members in each room. In second year 4 members in each room. In third year 4 members in each room. In final year 2 members in each room. Mess food is very good and delicious.
Alumni/Alumna
At that time we have alumni association but we are not that much interested at that time. But now if i got chance i will join alumni and will do my best for development of college.
Exam Structure
Our exam structure was very good. In First year we have no semesters. From second year on-wards we have 2 semesters for each academic year.
Faculty
We had excellent faculty came from IITs. Some of them have got doctorates and some of them are on their research at that time. Their teaching skills are very excellent.
