Remarks
The eligibility of my course was that you must have cleared 12th with any recognized board of India or of any other state. I took admission based on a management seat. Although you can take admission on the basis of an exam called UPSEE. Based on the score of that exam you can get a fee to waiver. Generally, this exam is conducted in the month of April. There is a reservation for reserved category students. They provide most of the help in availing admission. Various officials are there to help you. They took you in a car from the gate to the admission cell and even take you to the hostel.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose BTech as I was quite interested in Engineering, I wanted to explore things, and I was heavily driven by the immense evolution of technology and fascinated by computers, so I chose that. A number of faculties are quite good here. They are well qualified with good industry experience. After 60 students there is an associate professor of their respective departments. Their teaching methodology is average. They give proper notes which is beneficial for us for our semester exams. Assignments are also given by them on a regular basis. Sessional exams were conducted every month as the Units of respective subjects were covered. Before semester exams a Pre-University exam was conducted to test the efficiency of students.
Placement Experience
From the sixth semester of our college, the students were eligible to appear for placements. For that, they first needed to give an Aptitude paper then based on the score of that paper they were shortlisted for the future rounds. Some of the companies that visited our college were HCL, TCS, Wipro, Accenture, Capgemini and Infosys. Around 400+ students got placed this year. The highest package offered this year was 7LPA. The average package was 3.5LPA. Capgemini offered 7LPA and Infosys offered 3.5LPA on an average. around 70-75% of students got placed this year according to the college stats. After my graduation, I wanna go for higher studies but right not exactly sure about that.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees of this college were descent as compared to other engineering colleges. They used to charge around 1lakh per anum. Also, the cost of the University exam i.e Examination fees was 7865 per year. Our fees were constant for all four years. A scholarship facility was there by the Government of Uttar Pradesh if you belong to the state of Uttar Pradesh as the college was affiliated to State University. The college also provided scholarships if you score above 75% marks in your semester exams. The placement was also on an average basis i.e 4.5LPA.
Campus Life
The campus life is amazing here as you get a huge lush green campus with most of the facilities available. Every year an annual fest is organised called "UTKARSH". which occurs in the month of March. It is followed by a star night in which a Bollywood celebrity comes and performs. It occurs on the 31st of March (Founders day). It has a decent-sized library in which there are maximum books that will be available to you. Table and chairs (desk types) are available in the classrooms. Wifi is available on campus. Water coolers are established. Washrooms are neat and clean. You get huge opportunities in the field of sports and extra curricular activities on campus to showcase your talents. There are various clubs and societies available for you to join for respective activities like Singing, Dance and Performing arts.
Hostel Facilities
The boy's hostel was divided into four blocks each for the respective year of students so that there are no chance of ragging. Room as of descent sizes. In the first year of our college, we got 3seater rooms and from the 2nd year onwards we got 2 seater rooms. Attached washrooms were given in which cleanliness was done 3 times a week by the hostel premises. Food quality was up to average as the warden took propr care of it. We got eggs, grams, milk, tea, cornflakes and two bananas every morning. The registration process for the hostels was done during the admission process itself in the admission cell.
