Remarks

Admission is through entrance test and it is conducted by University in the month of August. You can apply through online for test and you should score about 75 mqrks to get admission.i suggest that entrance test should be online

Course Curriculum Overview

Faculty is highly qualified and all are phd pass out so they have highly knowledgeable. About 1 teacher is there for 60 students. About in every 2 months exam are taken in form of midterm and in 6 months a final exam of semester take place and exam are so easy to pass

Placement cell is there in the university which give us opportunity to get internship. Company like iffco and basf and other fertilizer and pesticides company give internship to us. Internship facilities is awesome

Placement Experience

Placement is not a problem as almost all students get job some industry are there which give preference to hau students, Almost 80 percent people get job . I am thinking to do msc after ug in the department of genetics

Fees and Financial Aid

About 10-12 thousand fees is taken as semester fees and about 3 to 4 thousand is taken as hostel charge per semester. Merit cum scholarship is given to students as 3 to 4 thousand who secure 7.5 Ogpa

Campus Life

College life is awesome. As nehru library is there for studying. There are many clubs like mountains club and culture club managed by dsw. Giri center and ground are available for sports and there is good faculty for indoor games

Hostel Facilities

There is a shortage of hostel facility but all hostels are equipped with wifi and alll facilities. There is gym and a study room available in the hostel. Meal is like average in the hostel. Registration for hostel will be with your admission

Placement Experience:

Their is placement but not very good placement the average placement is 4 LPA. They can increase their placement ratio by having better companies bond relationship. Highest placement was 9 LPA Nearly 7-10% Student get placement. My plan after degree is to continue further studies from different universities.

Pros and cons of being an agriculture student

Course Curriculum Overview:

I belong to a farming family and my wish to improve the traditional agricultural practices my family is using and to help the farmers community and serve as a gem to our motherland is the main reason which motivated me to take this course. All the faculty members are well qualified and are working as assistant scientists or scientists. Their practical knowledge is really great and they teach with a lot of interest, students are also keen to learn the new aspects of farming. One semester is completed in 6 months and mid term exams takes place within 3 months after that final exam takes place. It's not much difficult to pass the examination just a good knowledge of the subject is required.

It is a reputed university. Have a good education facility and agriculture course. That's why I choose this university. Also this University have an affordable fees structure and a very neat and clean enviroment in campus.

Pros and cons of being an agriculture student

The students who have completed 12th with PCB/PCM/PCA/PCMB with 50% marks are eligible for this course. The application form, application fres and application dates are available on the official website of the university. Some seats are reserved for the underprivileged categories SC, ST and OBC along with economically weaker sections. Seats are also reserved as sports quota, for the children of army officials and physically handicapped students as well. Some seats are also being provided to the children of the villages which have donated lands for the KVK's. The reservation benefits should be given to only those students who actually need it.
