Anoob Varghese's Review On Nowrosjee Wadia College, Pune

The college is very well known in Pune and in India. Its an aided college run by the trust Modern Education Society the college has a good number of courses the Junior College, Senior College and Post Graduation courses have various departments the faculties of various department are very well qualified and experienced the college focuses on all round development of students each Wadian is always proud to say that 'I am a Wadian'.

The College conducts special entrance for attaining admission for the course of Master of Computer Applications. The applicant need to fill the online form with the details. I scored 12 out of 20. Pune is an educational and IT hub, these reasons attracted me the is also very well known in Pune and in India the Computer Science Department is also very wellknown.

The curriculum syllabi is set by the University of Pune.

There are many well known companies coming to the campus for the internship and placement recruitments. The companies like QuickHeal, Symantec, Spring Technologies and many other companies and startups came for the recruitments some of the companies provided the stipend of Rs.35000 and a few others in the range of 20000 25000 per month.

The companies like QuickHeal, Symantec, Spring Technologies and many other companies and startups came for the recruitments almost 40% of the batch was placed in the campus recruitments they offered 1.5 Lakh to 4.2 Lakhs per annum.

The college has an annual college day function which is very well organized and well managed all the aspects like technical, cultural, art are showcased at various levels prior to the college day each department conducts 3 5 days departmental celebrations the whole college actively participate in the College functions.

The government and many NGOs provide Scholarships for the students those who are performing well in their studies.

Gender ratio is very good as far as my knowledge goes there are more girl students than boys in the campus there are students from various parts of India and the countries like Afganistan, Iran, Russia and various parts of Africa.

The hostel facilty is provided only for girls as per my knowledge the hotel fees is minimal, Rs. 25000 per year the mess food is provided for a monthly bill under 5000 the facilities are of average quality.

The alumni of the college are very helpful and they are very much interested in the well being of juniors many alumni refer the college for the placement activities many of them those who do well are invited by the college for motivational and inspirational talks and seminars.

The faculty of Computer Science Department of Nowros JEE Wadia College includes renowned professors like Dr. Shirwaikar and Dr. Nimkar they have a great number of years' experience in teaching.
