Remarks
The admission was through the jee mains exam, I applied for the jee mains exam and after the result, I applied for JOSSA counseling for Delhi colleges. The allotted seat in the colleges according to rank and I was allotted IT at maharaja surajmal institute of technology. After that, I was instructed to provide my documents and other formalities according to their brochure and the admission was successful, the eligibility of the course is just jeed mains rank to get admission. You can find the application form on their site and fees can be deposited online, application dates are also mentioned on the respective site. The improvement I want to see in the admission process is they should keep the whole process online as it is easy to submit documents online.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is really helpful to the students to make the field ready, it is not so tough and not so easy the difficulty of the course is moderate. The faculty here is well educated and qualified, they help students get internships and avail other better opportunities, I chose the course due to my interest in this branch and the placement records of the college. Faculty to student ratio is 2:5. Most of the faculty is of Ph.D. level and their teaching method is through blackboard, and through projectors, they teach well and every concept is cleared thoroughly. The exams are conducted every 2 months, exams are of moderate level not so tough one can easily get marks if studied 1 week before exams.
Placement Experience
The placements in the college are far better than average placements students from 7th sem become eligible for campus placements, around 200 plus companies visited, the highest packages offered are 45 lacs by Microsoft and the 95 percent of students get placed, my plans after getting placements are forms
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees structure of the college is - 1.30 lacs for 1 year and hostel and mess costs around 98 thousand per year, so the fees of the college are not so much. There is no such scholarship offered by the college. Students get really good internships and on-campus placements. Companies like google Microsoft adobe Infosys offer internship opportunities with really high stipends.
Campus Life
The college life here is below average as the campus area is small, and the infrastructure of the college is poor. The annual fest conducted is ENVA and the tech fest is ENVASIS they are usually conducted in April. You can issue books from the book bank for the whole semester and journals from the library. The sports events conducted are fewer, all the extracurricular activities are conducted by the societies of the college, and the social groups run by the students are societies of the college.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel of the college is poor and the rooms are really small, only fan light electricity and almirah are given to the students. The mess food is above average and the menu is fixed accordingly and is not changed The registration process for the hostel is done online through the site, the hostel is affordable and manageable, you can rent a pg in C4E JANAKPURI
