Entrance Preview

I scored 102 marks in CET entrance exam. While filling form for second round, I wrongly selected Indira Institute of Business Management (IIBM) instead of Indira Institute of Management, Pune, and fortunately or unfortunately I got IIBM as mandatory and last option.

Placement Experience

Slightly better than other MBA colleges in Navi Mumbai, College and placement committee always try their best for place their students in reputed companies. I got placed in HDFC Bank with 2.5 lakhs per annum (18k take home) which was average package for that year.

College Events

In IIBM we celebrate I-feast every year. Which includes various kinds of game competitions (includes outdoor games, indoor games, online games, treasure hunt, etc). Dance and singing competitions. Fashion show and Etc. College invites their alumni every year for celebrating alumni meet.

Fees and Financial Aid

Regular scholarship is applicable for backward class students. No special scholarship or loan facility offered by the college.

Campus Life

Now the college turn into a Christian minority college. IIBM have WI-FI campus. There are so many inter-college events and game competitions happening thought out the course. The college has four computer labs with approximately 50 machines each.

Alumni network is good, every time any senior got to know any opening for MBA fresher they inform to placement cell of IIBM.

When I was in college in 2013 faculties were luminous. Believe me Amol Sir was exceptional and truly he made my career. Sadly he quit teaching and now he is working as vice president in a MNC company. The college has always maintained standard it for teaching.

My SBS Journey

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

Not a dream college but a real one

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

from 2 sem you get to apply from interships and from 5th sem for placements ,i applied for only company which was tiaa one of the most biggest mnc in india who is direct compitator of jp morgan , i got a package of 6 lacks ctc per anum but the highest package was 12 lacks , the college has a policy that all student gets placed no students are left behind

Promising campus with room for better faculty.

Placement Experience:

After sem 4 we get final placement companies in the campus there are total 200 plus companies come to the campus till september to november almost 35 companies already come to the campus. The companies are ICICI, HDFC, RISHAB WORLD, INSYNC, DENSTU, ITC, BHARAT ELECTRONICS, CORDELIA CRUISE, MORNING STAR, NOMURA, NYKA, NAUKRI.COM. the highest package was given by a company name bharat electronics for HR specialization is 12 lakhs per annum. Almost in my time there 35percent get placed. I plan after degree is first 3-5 yrs in corporate lufe then after own business.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. There was one exam conducted per semester which included projects and written exams.

Remarks:

No such bad remarks though. As the college is very superior and one can take admission with complete ease as the college faculty, staff, workers are very helpful and there motive is very clear and remarkable.
