Remarks

I have written entrance exam of Veltech during my intermedite 2nd year and i got rank below 600 and after completing my 12th exams i went to university in avadi, chennai and i complted my registration process it took me 1 day and i got seat.they didn't charged me any application fee but asked to pay atleast half of the course fee for the 1st semester. They gave me the required information how and when to attend university and explained rules and regulations. They will provide us the scholarship based on the entrance exam rank and 12th marks which is very useful in my view. Admission process what i had gine through is quite good

Course Curriculum Overview

I have slected computer science and engineering and i was given the schedule of the courses which i need to complete in the particular semester amd my class consists of 60 students and i have been thaugh by nearly 30 plus faculties most of them are associate professors only 2 faculties are professers. In each semester we have 2 unit tests 2 mid terms 1 semester exam. Exams are not so difficult we can clear them with ease . Difficulty level is below average. We will be assigned to a mentor to whome we can know all the information regarding academics and can contact him if wr are facing any problem

Class Size: 45Course Fees: INR 42300 per year

Internships are brought to us by our college management, they help us in olacing that internship and give training to crack the internship exams and max students will be provided with internship and jobs

Placements are good all mncs will visit our college like wipro, capgemeni, cognizant, etc. Average oackage i s 5 lpa and every 6 students out if 10 will get placed in the camous drives. They also provide internship facilities ti students

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee fir each semester is around 45thousand to 1 lakh 40 thousand based on university scholarship we get we can afford the fee and placement are good 6 members in every 10 members gets placed average package is 5lap

Campus Life

University will conduct a mega fest for every 2 years fir 3 days that will remain in ur life forever amd mini fests and sport tournament are conducted fir every 2 months and for special days . Library is very big separate fir every department all books are available qnd classrooms are maintained clean and has wifi availability all over campus

Hostel Facilities

The best thing about university is hostel fee is 45 thousand and 24 hours water, electricity, wifi available and hostels are maintained clean rooms are cleaned every day, washing machine available food is awesome nonveg and veg every day

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

From final year students and 3rd-year students eligible for attending the campus placements in this campus so many companies are there like Wipro, wheels India, so many IT companies in this average package starting as 18000 to 40000 students should have a minimum percentage of 6.80cgpa eligible for placement I completed the degree I got a placement on IT company.

Before admitting in Vel Tech, I've applied in Quaid E Millath, Queen Mary's College, Nandanam Arts college, Presidency college.I chose Veltech over these because It helps me financially and academically.Even though i had less marks Veltech admitted me. Yes I did get a rejection from other colleges due to my less performance in 12th Standard. It happened because of my medical issues. Admission process in Vel Tech was so simple and Neat First they will be asking for the following Aadhar 10th, 11th, 12th Mark Sheets 12th Certificate TC certificate Caste Certificate Income Certificate Bonafide (if necessary) And then we are requested to pay the full fee amount I joined through management quota.
