Ending is the New Beginning

NO reservation availed by me as I am general category. The eligibility for the Biotechnology course is 55% with biology you should have in your intermediate. The application form we can find on the college website which is www.veltech.edu.in, application form fee is 950 per person, and we can start filling out the form on April second week. Yes, I want an improvement that if scholarship details should also be mentioned on the college website then it will be easy for the student.

I chose the course because I am interested in Technology as well as biology too, so it's the proper course for me. In my department including all four years, there are about 180 students, and teachers are about 10 in my department. They are highly educated as they have completed their Pg and some of them completed their Ph.D. too. They are not giving lectures in the classroom rather than this they are giving lectures in the live site area which is helpful for us. With the help of ppt, they explain every topic, and they conduct active learning classes, so their teaching method is awesome. There are two semesters of exams in a year two mid-tests two unit tests and three labs in each semester and they are quite easy to pass.

Companies like Zoho and Nokia are only giving internship opportunities in our college with an average stipend of 15k per month. But students are also getting internships from the DDD department but it's not a paid internships. Projects what I have done was Movie recommendation application, and during this project, I have learned many things about CNN, KNN haar cascade algorithm, etc. It's very helpful in my job also.

In 2020 (0% of students got the placement, so placement is very good in our college average salary is 4 LPA and maximum is 10 LPA. a Companies like Nokia, TCS, Capgemini, Accenture, Infosys are coming for hiring. Every student is eligible for the placement in the 7th semester but he should have scored more than 60% in his/her academics and with no arrear. Accenture made more than 100 offers in 2020. After getting my degree I am doing the job at a company which I was placed.

For the scholarship, you should score more than 75% in the 12th class then only you are eligible for the scholarship. you will get a 50% scholarship if got more than 75% marks. Mahatma Gandhi scholarship is the name of the scholarship which is being provided by the college. There is no fee hike policy in the tuition fees for the academic year. I got a job in Conde Nest with a stipend of 22k per month.

TANTRAZ and IILIZIAM are the two technical fests that are conducted in our college, and LAVAZZA which is our annual fest is conducted in February. There are a lot of books and journals available for each student for any department in the central library which is 1 block from the main entrance of the college on the third floor. In class, we are getting a projector dustbin and table to sit that's it. There are yoga groups, music groups, and environment groups run by the students in the college. kabaddi, cricket, badminton, volleyball, etc, are played by the students in CK Naidu stadium. Yoga day is also being celebrated in the college.

In the hostel, we are getting a bed fan table chair and bucket, and mug. Two types of rooms are available, AC and Non Ac students can select the room according to their choice on the HMS website which is given by the college. for me I have booked 2 in 1 nonfee for that for one year was 104000. The meal provided by the hostel mess is superb compared to another college. every day we are getting chicken, on Wednesday biryani and ice cream too. Morning breakfast getting Maggie, Noodles, Chapati, Breadomlette, coffee, etc, In the afternoon twice a week egg and regular meal. Pg is available at walking distance from the college per month you have to pay 7000 for that.
