Honest and impartial review of a concerned Jiitian

There is no specific entrance exam being conducted for admission in Jiit. It takes admission on two bases 1.) On the basis of your Jee mains rank 2.) On the basis of your class 12 board exam marks. You can find its application forms on its official website jiit.ac.in you have to fill out separate forms for both modes of admission. There is no reservation for any student. I will be happy if the college removes the board's marks as the basis of admission or at least reduce the number of seats for boards students as low as possible.

I am currently enrolled in Btech CSE, I chose this course as I was interested in CSE and it has a great scope in future as well. There is 1 faculty with over 30 students. All of the professors and the rest faculty are doctorates and are highly qualified from reputed Indian as well as international institutes. Exams are conducted every 1 or 1.5 months that are term 1, term 2 and term 3 exams. For me personally, they are not very difficult to pass if you study well 5-6 days before every term you will score very good grades but it can vary from student to student

There are internship opportunities but not many around 10-15 per cent of students get internships in good companies like Deloitte, Amazon, swiggy, Sharechat etc. Stipends provided by the companies are also decent around 50-70 thousand.

The students become eligible for placements after 6 semesters, average placement of jiit is 7.5 lakhs PA almost all the good companies visit for placement like Amazon, adobe, Altasisan, Goldman Sachs, Delloite and many more the highest package of 57 lakhs was offered to two students by Atlassian in the year 2021-2022 about 90 per cent of students get placed.

The fees structure is decent, the cost to study here if you are a day scholar is around 10,50,500. But if you are a hostler it's around 16,00,000. According to me, there is around a 5-6 percent fee hike every year for the next four years like for example if I get admission in 2021 my fees for the next four years are 10 lakhs for the student getting admission in 2022 will have total fees of 11 lakhs. There are scholarships but those are very hard to get they are based on jee advanced ranks and if you have that good jee advanced rank you will probably end up in a better college

There are two campuses of jilt Noida one sector 62 campuses and another sector 128 campuses the 62 campus is good it's in the prime location of Noida but sector 128 is very bad it's in outskirts plus very small about half the size of 62 and 62 is itself 16 acres only. Sports facilities are quite decent in sector 128 and 62 is average there are football, cricket, basketball and badminton and volleyball courts. There are several clubs and societies which you can join that is a very good part about jiit. There are curriculum books available in libraries but not any extra books

All are 2 sharing AC rooms with beds table chairs and one cupboard the rooms are quite spacious and good. There are 3 meals in a day and the meal quality as compared to many colleges is very good. A google form is mailed to you by the registrar when you want to opt for a hostel.
