Entrance Preview

I went into the college on merit basis. I chose electrical because it was one of the versatile courses. There were lot of scope for electrical engineers. By taking this course i could try for hardware as well as software jobs. The reason for selecting this college is that it had very good amenitites, infrastructure and lecturers,also it had a very good placement department.

Internships Opportunities

Please find below the list of internship programmes that my college has. Kaizen robotics, Embedded systems, SCJP, SQL server 2008, Web application developer - Dot net 3.5.Companies like TCS,wipro,hcl, cts, L&T,hyundai, ford visitied and we were given stipend of around 7k per month.

Our college had a 100% placement offer. Following are the list of companies which came giving a package from around 3 lak per annum to 10 lak per annum. ABB, Accenture, Adaptavant Technologies, AirTel, Amalgamations Group, American Megatrends, Analytical Instrumentation.

The college had the following festivals NSS. The College has a Special Programme Officer who was trained at the Madras School of Social Work. The main objective of the NSS is to "Serve the downtrodden in the society" and "Personality Development through Community Service". The NSS unit of Rajalakshmi Engineering College has carried out blood donation camps, Awareness programmes on 'Health and Hygiene', Consumer Rights, Environmental Protection etc.

All banks provode you with education loans, also for gud scores that you get in twelth standard will get you a lot of scholarships and free education too.

Students through councling receives great offers in fees structure and for toppers having 190 +cutoffs get more offers like 50000 off over all fees will be 6-7lakhs for 4 years ,and moreover the fees was increasing year by year for the demand of this course and for management students the the donation for the courses is varies for example for cse course the donation will be 4lakhs and fees will be 3.8lakhs for other courses the fes structure will be varied the best part of this college is the food on a week only Friday we will have veg and for all other days we will have nonbeg

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Along with core biotech companies, many IT companies are also hiring students at a very decent package. 4.) I plan to pursue a master's after this course.

Students become eligible for placements in their final year. Many reputed companies like accenture, TCS, zoho, HCL, etc. visited and many of my friends also got placed with a good package. The highest package from my batch was 50lpa in company called motorq. The average package is around 4lpa.

Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

It's a good college for me.

Placement Experience:

From final year students and 3rd-year students eligible for attending the campus placements in this campus so many companies are there like Wipro, wheels India, so many IT companies in this average package starting as 18000 to 40000 students should have a minimum percentage of 6.80cgpa eligible for placement I completed the degree I got a placement on IT company.

I got seat at srm chennai but it was too long for me and it couldnt manage the travel because i should catch the bus at morning 6 am and i will return to home around 5 50pm. So nearly 12 hours. So rejected it and choose rec chennai because it is near to my location. I will catch the bus at 6 55 am and i will come to home at 4 15 pm. I wasnt applied to other clg so there is no rejection.Simple admission process just show ur orginal 12th certificate and cutoff marks.If your abive 80% cutoff u can pay minimum donation if doesnt enough for the course which u applied. Counselling is the better way to avoid donations and cutoffs may change for the caste....Read More
