Remarks

The admission process was through Anna university's counseling sessions. KCG College of Technology also provides admissions through mark-based and sports quotas for students who are eminent in sports.

I chose B.Tech IT since it focuses more on networking and the curriculum interested me as it includes java, big data, and new technologies. All my professors are well experienced and most of them have their own papers published by renowned International publishers. The faculty brings out the best in you by providing opportunities from MNC Companies such as Cisco, and Zoho, be it hackathons, or other technical or non-technical events/ internships.

The college tries to bring out the best in you by providing opportunities from MNC companies such as cisco, Zoho, virtusa, be it hackathons, or other technical or non-technical competitions. And they also conduct competitions from Engineering societies such as IET (The Institution of Engineering and Technology, London).

The placement in my college is good in my department with an average package of 5L and includes companies like Zoho, Karr Technologies, Virtusa, etc. The college also has a Higher education cell for students who wish to pursue higher education and the cell emphasizes learning foreign languages such as french, german and also teaches students on SOP writing and gives apt guidance in joining abroad universities.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure is good and the college provides you with information of many scholarships for you to apply the one which suits you and alligns with your eligibility criteria. The placements rate in my department is 100%.

Campus Life

Life on the campus is as same as any college student can expect. The college provides you with many clubs if you wish to join. There are literary, sports, dance even horse clubs. The college is one among the colleges after NIT and VIT which has a club called "Toastmasters International", an international speaking club.

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Along with core biotech companies, many IT companies are also hiring students at a very decent package. 4.) I plan to pursue a master's after this course.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in their final year. Many reputed companies like accenture, TCS, zoho, HCL, etc. visited and many of my friends also got placed with a good package. The highest package from my batch was 50lpa in company called motorq. The average package is around 4lpa.

Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

It's a good college for me.

From final year students and 3rd-year students eligible for attending the campus placements in this campus so many companies are there like Wipro, wheels India, so many IT companies in this average package starting as 18000 to 40000 students should have a minimum percentage of 6.80cgpa eligible for placement I completed the degree I got a placement on IT company.
