Remarks
Admission to CMRIT can be taken through COMED-K exams for non-karnataka students and for Karnataka students need to give the KCET exam. The cut off is not much. Scoring a decent rank(below 20k) can easily fetch you CSE or ISE stream.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is decided by VTU and our college needs to follow it. The faculty is very chill and friendly. They easily understand the situation of students and provide the best solution for them.
Internships Opportunities
Internships are also a part of the placement program. Most companies come with performance-based offers through their internship. Amazon and many other companies offered internships. College provides paid internships and not stipend based internships.
Placement Experience
Placements are excellent, especially for CSE and ISE branch. Average package(6-7 LPA) offered is also good. There are lot of placement training programs which are being carried out from the first sem itself. The mandatory project work in every sem is a blessing in disguise for placement. The number of companies that visited this year(2022) and the number of hiring they did was way more than the combined strength of CSE and ISE students. Each student had like 2-3 placement offers in their hands.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee for students getting admission through COMED-K is a bit high and is increasing year by year. Getting and maintaining scholarships is a bit difficult especially if you're a COMED-K student in the general category.
Campus Life
Life at the campus is moderate like any other engineering college. There are annual fest and ethnic day celebrations being carried out every year. There are some sports events too which take place every alternate semester.
