Remarks
At the time of my admission, admission was done on the basis of UPSEE score through UPSEE counselling.The cutoff rank for general category was around 2000. There are reservation seats also.18% for OBC category and 22% for SC category. From 2021 onwards, admission is done on the basis of JEE MAIN score through UPSEE counselling. There are courses for B.Tech,M.Tech,MBA,MCA,etc.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering because IET Lucknow has a great coding culture and very helpful seniors. Faculty student ratio is about 1:70. Mostly all faculty members have done P.hd from IIITs and have expertise in their subjects.The teaching method is good and teachers will always be there to solve your doubts.
Internships Opportunities
Many students got internship offers from many companies both on-campus and off-campus like scaler academy,Goldman Sachs,Service now etc.Stipend given is also very nice around 35k-50k is given. Projects are based on system security and system building.
Placement Experience
The placement in IET LUCKNOW is very good.It is increasing rapidly.Every year 70-80% got placed in different companies with very decent packages. Students got placed in Companies like Google,Amazon,Paytm,Codenation,Adobe,Wipro,TCS and many other tech giant companies. The highest package this year was 1.30 Crore in Google(London) which was off campus.Around 15-20 students got around 45-50 lacs in different companies.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college fees is around 84750(excluding hostel and mess fees).There is no such fee hike policy in the college. You can apply for UP post-matrix scholarship which gives upto 50000 rupees which is a very handsome amount.
Campus Life
The motto of our institute is "Gyan Bharam Kriyam Binam" which means that knowledge is a load without application. The students of this institute are not only rich in technical and academic skills but they also excel culturally. To celebrate all these skills of our students, our cultural fest 'ENCORE' is organized every year. It is our institute's cultural and technical fest. Other colleges from throughout the country are invited to participate in the fest. There is library with many books for different subjects. There are many clubs in the college which is essential for your extra curriculum and for your personality development.
Hostel Facilities
Capacity Ramanujan Hostel for boys with the capacity of 315 occupants, exist in the campus.
