Entrance Preview

No entrance exam for Engineering in Tamil Nadu. I had a cut-off of 182. So in my mind I had other top colleges in mind other than these, But I'm in Open category so seats in other colleges are over.

Internships Opportunities

As per Anna University syllabus there is no need for Internship. You cant expect a internship in any of the other colleges because it is a waste of money for them.But in Rajalakshmi Engg College you can expect atleast one industrial visit once in a semester.

Placement Experience

Placements are really good. But it is up to you utilize the opportunity.The main advantage of this college is after the end of 6th semester exams the end semester leaves and Saturdays and Sundays of 7th semester will be utilized for placement training. Some might fell it is interesting and some might fell frustrating because of training held on Saturdays and Sundays. But in the end everyone will accept that this training has helped them to prepare and get placed in campus interview. The main drawback of this training is they are mainly focused on TCS.

Fees and Financial Aid

If you are college topper/University topper you can avail no semester fee/some prize amount for next semester. Apart from that you can also avail government scholarship if you are from SC/ST.College will provide their support as much as possible for taking education loan.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

Placement Experience:

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Along with core biotech companies, many IT companies are also hiring students at a very decent package. 4.) I plan to pursue a master's after this course.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in their final year. Many reputed companies like accenture, TCS, zoho, HCL, etc. visited and many of my friends also got placed with a good package. The highest package from my batch was 50lpa in company called motorq. The average package is around 4lpa.

Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

It's a good college for me.

Placement Experience:

From final year students and 3rd-year students eligible for attending the campus placements in this campus so many companies are there like Wipro, wheels India, so many IT companies in this average package starting as 18000 to 40000 students should have a minimum percentage of 6.80cgpa eligible for placement I completed the degree I got a placement on IT company.

because of future is EV. So I will take the EEE for a bright future 50:1 ratio level. Faculty qualification is a minimum PG and most of the faculties are complete Ph.D. each unit has a unit test it is very easy only No difficulty to get a pass.

I got seat at srm chennai but it was too long for me and it couldnt manage the travel because i should catch the bus at morning 6 am and i will return to home around 5 50pm. So nearly 12 hours. So rejected it and choose rec chennai because it is near to my location. I will catch the bus at 6 55 am and i will come to home at 4 15 pm. I wasnt applied to other clg so there is no rejection.Simple admission process just show ur orginal 12th certificate and cutoff marks.If your abive 80% cutoff u can pay minimum donation if doesnt enough for the course which u applied. Counselling is the better way to avoid donations and cutoffs may change for the caste....Read More
