Remarks
The college has excellent placements, especially for circuital branches, and decent placement for other branches as well. The infrastructure is average as there are limited hostels but all other facilities are available on the campus itself.
Course Curriculum Overview
I wanted a circuital branch and an NIT with good placement so I chose NIT Raipur, The teachers are well qualified but you'll have to put in efforts from your side as well. The exams are of normal difficulty, the questions are from notes or reference books and with decent preparation, you can ace the term exams.
Internships Opportunities
Internship opportunities are decent as well, almost 50-60% of students in circuital branches get internships and a lot others get internships through off-campus opportunities as well. The peer group is amazing so you can upskill yourself and easily go for off-campus opportunities as well.
Placement Experience
Companies visit for internships from 3rd year and for placements in starting of the fourth year. The placements are amazing and all the major tech companies recruit from the campus. There are also a decent number of core companies visiting the campus for core placements.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college fee is 138000 per year which is I guess lowest in any NIT, the hostel and mess charges are almost 35000 per year separately. Also, there are numerous scholarships which you can avail yourself of based on your family income as well as your category.
Campus Life
There are several clubs in the college from Nrityam (the dance club), literati (the literature club), robotix, Raaga, Ecell, Icell, Motorsports club, Turing club of programmers, and a lot of other unofficial clubs as well.
