Very decent college in central India

Admission to NIT was done by giving JEE Mains examination, I qualified for that examination in the year 2021, and as Chhattisgarh is the home state I got admission to this college. The cutoff trend for the ECE branch at NIT Raipur is going down prev year it was 17k OBC HS and this year it's around 14k. All the application forms and admission is done by JOSAA, you have to submit the details and other forms like State proof, etc to the site directly once you are qualified. If you want to give me another chance you can fill the spot in CSAB round to apply for the left out seats in the college. There were not so many benefits of reservation, just there's a slight change in cutoff not so much. Any improvement I would suggest is to fasten the process.

I was very much interested in robotics and all stuff. Electronics and communication were thus the best branch for me to practice those stuff. It is a very vast field in technology, and someone can easily learn many things here. The faculty at NIT Raipur are very helpful they look after almost every student and they share every marking scheme and their past experiences with the exams and college. They even help in finding the best clubs in college. All the faculties almost every faculty is a Ph.D. graduate from very renowned institutes like IIT kgp etc. Their teaching method is very decent just the pad to write and make us understand the concepts and Powerpoint presentations for better understanding they share their notes directly to the google classroom we have easy access there. Term exams are easy if one has gone through the teacher's notes.

The internship offers at the college are very good many clubs like the programming club TCP, robotics club, or the hackclub provide you the best option for your internship by the leading companies by discussing it with the seniors.

From the third-semester students start getting the pre-placement offers from the very renowned companies like Microsoft Google Adobe etc add the number of offers made was at least 70% of the students applied the highest package was two crores given by the Facebook to a student and the minimum package or the average package for the biomedical student was eight lacs per annum 90% of the students get placed according to their criteria or their skills. My plans after the degree are to secure the placement or do a master's in robotics and automation under the company itself.

The fee structure is very decent like 1.38 lacs per year for the students whose family income is more than 5 lacs and thus there are many below 5 lacs so their fee is around 75k per year, there are many banks who provide you bank loan there to study once you are graduate and secure your job you can pay the money at that time. in Chhattisgarh there are many scholarship programs run by the government one can find about it on websites. COllege helps in availing that scholarship.

Life at the campus is very good there's greenery in the pathways and also there's a chain of food stalls outside the college. There are many fests in college by every club and a big fest AVARTAN in college. All those fests are so good one can enjoy college life at its best there. Books and journals are present in the library it's a huge library mostly books are present there. Classrooms are provided with 4 ACs and fans along with a projector and well-maintained bench and tables. there's a huge ground one can pursue and play any kind of sports he/she wants to. There are many clubs like for photography there's a CLICK CLUB, for music there's RAAGA CLUB, for dance there's an NRITYAM CLUB, for programmers there's a TCP club and many more.

The room is very nice, occupancy of 2 or 3 per room LAN cable is provided for internet connectivity and the hostel is very close to campus, mess food is very good as reviewed by seniors and fan is provided along with all the necessary things. One can register for a hostel through the college website. People living near the Raipur are not provided a hostel. The hostel is very affordable one can apply for those ten through the college website and it is done through the eligibility criteria through the rank secured by the student and the PG is available near the college within a radius of 1 kilometer.
