Remarks
for eligibility, you have to give jee main and try to score above 94 percentile if you are from Chhattisgarh and 97.5 above if you are from outside the state. you can find the application form on the jee main website, it generally starts from January. application form fees will be 650 per session. one thing I want to say is that if you are in class 12 and giving jee main, forget your CBSE marks, please focus on your 1st jee the main session, because at that time many students preparation is not good and you can get more percentile on fewer marks, don't think that 2nd attempt will save you, its bull shit. government for earning money have started 2nd session of jee main. because I have seen many students who increased their marks by 50-60 numbers, eventually their percentile gets decreased from the previous one. I am not saying that you cant improve your percentile in 2nd session, but only a few could do it. then you have to score around 250 marks to get the 99.7 percentile. it's tough.
Course Curriculum Overview
well from ece you can go to core and noncore also. The faculty ratio would be 1:10. teachers are quite good and helping in nature. time exam used to happen, like every 2 months a monthly test would be there, they would give you projects. questions are not that tough but for that, you have to always be present in the class, make notes, and revise them. they you can easily get good grades.
Internships Opportunities
adobe came and gave a stipend of around 1.5 lakh per month. it gave me the role of assistant engineer. many more companies and gave internships to many students. around 300 students got the internship. the placement cell works very well in our college.
Placement Experience
with the starting of the 5th semester, the companies come for internships. percentage of students placed would be around 80 percent. the highest package was from adobe around 55 lakhs and around 600 offers were made. the average package of cs and it is around 15 lakh and 17 lakh, for ece it is around 11 lakh and total college average package was 9.4 lakhs. Microsoft came, and Samsung came.
Fees and Financial Aid
one of the best things in nit is it's not high. and our college has 3 categories for fees for annual income above 5 lakh 1.38 lakh per year and below 5 lakh 54k and 1 lakh its 13k. you can get a scholarship from the central government national scholarship website. if you are a general category student, then your total cost would be around 7.5 lakhs.
Campus Life
tech fest happens like codeutsav, tritium is also there. many clubs are also there like interact club where they give you general knowledge problems. the cricket club is there. every 2 months a tournament happens.
