For taking admission into this college, one need to qualify jee mains. One can get application form for this entrance exam in site of nta for jee mains. Reservation is applicable in jee mains. Qualifying cut off for sc, st, obc is low in comparison to general category. Even home state quota and girls quota is also applicable in college and seats are reserved for sc, st and obc.
Course Curriculum Overview
Exams are held twice per semester. There are two semesters held in a year. Each semester consists of 2 exams - mid sem and end sem. Exams are held easy . One who studies atleast 1 hr daily or 1 week before exam with full concentration can score good marks.
Placement Experience
In electrical branch placements are good. This time the overall average package of all branches gone is 9,70,000. Around 92 companies visited the campus this year and 599 offers were made to nitrr students. In electrical branch, if you want a job in tech company, around 70% -80% allows students to sit for placement. This data varies as we go down the branch. Placements to students are offered in 4 th year and interships are provided in 3 rd year. One can even apply for off campus placements. To sit for placement, students should maintain a cpi of 8- 8.5 which can be easily maintained.
Fees and Financial Aid
One can apply for different state scholarship and National level Schloroship. It is easy to get educational loan in this college name. College too gives fees remission for courses. For people whose anual family income is below 1 lakh will have to pay 1/3 rd of the total fees, for income between 1-5 lakh it is 2/3 rd of total fees.
Campus Life
Colleges has many clubs like nrityam - dance club, shourya - game club, tcp- coding club, nss, e-cell - entrepreneurship cell and many more. One can take part in any club of their choice to enhance their skills and for personal growth. These clubs help students to cherish their skills and give a boost to the resume too.
Hostel Facilities
In this college, there is only one problem, hostels are not provided to all the students. There is a lack of hostel but a lot of pg and private hostels are located nearby the college. You will not face any problem in getting pg. In first year, hostels are given on the basis of rank and distance and from 2 nd year onwards, one should get a good cpi i.e. CGPA to get hostel. Hostels are provided with wifi, geyser, mess food 4 times a day, a common bathroom, study table and bed. There is no cooler in any room but one can purchase it for oneself.
