For applying in Bitsat the minimum eligibility is 75% in any board organized by the central government PCM for BE PCB for Biopharma The application form can be found on the Bits official website i.e. Bitsadmission.com And one can apply it during an approximate 3 months open window The fee for the exam is approx Rs3400 This is the only engineering college where there is no reservation who so ever it is. I wish there was more transparency and normalization like JEE in the admission process

I chose CSE because of its wide-area of opportunities as the IT industry is booming these days and will continue to do that in the future as well The faculty and student ratio is also very good We have lectures in which we cannot have that much personal attention but in the Tutorials, we get the personal attention too from professors and not just Ph.D. students The faculty here is qualified almost all being professors And assistant professors and focus on application-based teaching methods which make the class inquisitive We have regular evaluations and Mid sems plus Comprehensive exams. They are held at regular intervals and they are moderate level to pass if you are regular in your studies.

There are two PS(practice school) compulsory for everyone to go through PS 1 is after 2nd year PS2 is after 3year that is in 4-1 or 4-2 as per their branch One can take any project under any professor but that option is available after the completion of 3 semesters

Most of the placements take place during the summer break after completing the third year. There are no official package details by the college but the highest package last year was around 45lpa Ctc and the lowest was around 8lpa. Approximately 82% of the students sitting in on-campus placements are placed which is quite good I will most probably pursue MBA or a job after completion of my degree

The fee structure is comparatively higher than most of the IIT, NIT, etc and even some private colleges also and it is approximate 4.5lpa There is a 10percent fee hike every year which is a lot and should be reduced We have Merit scholarship MCN- Merit cum need scholarship SAF scholarship There is also some assistance for single parents We can be a part of SWD Nucleus where we get a stipend to work for them.

We have Three main fests Pearl-Cultural fest Atmos-Technical fest Arena-Sports fest The library here always has availability of books that too in large excess for the issuing purposes Mostly all the sports played all across the nation are played here too at a serious level if one wants to. So I can surely say that will not cause any problem if one wants to play any game. Mostly all the activities and the events on campus are generally run by the and for the students from the placement unit to the pro shows during the fest, everything is conducted properly by the students.

The hostels here are built nice but with just one issue that is no air conditioning which is quite anticipated after the high fees The mess is quite decent The food is prepared by taking account of all the people of different states so that nobody faces any problem as such Hostels are quite affordable and their registration process is also very simple as the hostels are divided among different years so that it doesn't cause any issues at the time of registration
